I know something is happening to you lil sis. I'm not dumb nor stupid.

"Tell me lil sis. Are you hiding something from me?" Tanong ko habang hinila siya paupo para makapag usap kami ng maayos.

I silently cursed when she wasn't able to answer my question.

Napatingin nalang ako sa taas para pigilan yung mga lubang nag babadyang tumulo sa mga mata ko.

"Please.... Lil sis.. I'm begging you! Damn! I'm your fckin' brother! I have the rights to know what is happening to you!" Hindi ko na mapigilan. Naiinis ako sa fact na wala akong kaalam-alam kung may nangyayari na bang masama sa kanya.

Nag promise ako sa kanya nung mga bata pa kami na I will protect her.

"Oppa..." Napatingin ako sa kanya at nakita ko iyong mga luha na walang tigil na umaagos sa mga mata niya.

"Oppa... Sorry.. I'm so sorry... I know you deserve to know but I'm scared. I'm scared that if you find out what's happening to me, you will be worry as hell. And knowing that fact I will not be able to concentrate on my operation."

"Pleasee... I'm begging you." I pleaded and I cannot handle my tears anymore. It just flow freely out of my eyes.

Her teary eyes widened as she saw my tears coming out from my eyes.

"Stop crying Oppa.. It hurts to see you cry. Knowing that I'm the reason of it." Sabi niya at pilit na pinupunasan yung mga luha ko.

Umiling lang ako sa kanya kaya napahinga siya ng malalim at tumayo. May kinuha siya doon sa study table niya. At bumalik din pag katapos.

"Since you're eager to know what's happening to me... Lemme tell you a secret!" I hate seeing her smile in this kind of situation.

Umupo siya sa kama niya and started talking.

"As you can see Oppa, I'm not normal like you. Normal people like you, your heart usually beats 60-100 per minute but as for me.. My heart only do limited heartbeats."

"See this?" She asked at tinaas yung watch na palagi niyang suot. Napatango nalang ako bilang sagot kasi hanggang ngayon hindi parin nag sisink in sakin lahat ng sinasabi niya ngayon.

"This watch is different from the other watches. The normal watch helps us to determine what time is it but mine is different. This watch is called Jiffy meter, it helps me to monitor my heartbeats Oppa. It tells me how many heartbeats I usually used a day and also it tells me the remaining heartbeats I have left." She said.
