"Stay to the side of the car," she told them as she opened the other door to get Charlotte out. "Do I wave as well?" she asked her as Kate smiled at her, before adjusting her dress a little. "Yes sweetheart," she told her as she put her on the ground before closing the door. Taking Charlotte on one side, she took Arthur's hand on the other as he held onto George's hand.

"come on let's go and see mummy and daddy," she told them as she made sure that the children were alright as they waved towards the cameras. "Just imagine them in Clown's noses." She whispered to George as he let out a small laugh before nodding his head at Kate. She gave a small wave herself before heading inside and she could finally let out a relieved sigh as she headed up to the Maternity ward.

"Visitors," Kate announced as they walked into the room where Catherine was sat on the bed with her new son in her arms as she grinned at her two older children.

"We heard." Will chuckled as she nodded her head. "I can't help it." she told him with a smile on her face as she wrapped her arms around him. "congrats Will," she told him as he thanked her before Kate headed to the bed to see the new Prince. "Oh my god, he's so beautiful and cute. Congrats Kate." Kate told her with an emotional smile on her face as Catherine grinned at her. "Meet your godson Louis Arthur Charles," Catherine told her as Kate grinned down at her. "It's a beautiful name," Kate told her as she held out her arms to take her godson. "You're sure about me being a godmother right?" she asked them with a small chuckle as she looked between Catherine and Will. "Of course, we've asked you with Charlotte as well." they reminded her as she tilted her head to the side with a smile. "hey little one, I'm your." she started to say as Will cut in. "Aunty." looking up at him she gave him a small smile. "You guys really made a beautiful baby. I might take him with me," she told him with a chuckle as they laughed at her.

"babysitting will be okay, not taking him though," Catherine told her with an amused chuckle as Kate handed George his new baby brother. William took her place as she got up and headed to Catherine. "how are you feeling?" she asked her best friend as she sat on the edge of the bed. "Tired and sore, but overjoyed," she told her with a wide grin as she looked towards her now three children.

"You're making me broody." She teased her friend with a nudge of her elbow and Kate grinned at her. "What are you waiting for you have Glen back. I can see a small girl running around having her daddy wrapped around her little finger." Catherine told her as she looked at her best friend who had a wistful smile on her face as she looked towards her newborn son in her arms.

"I couldn't, he's working all the time and touring. I raised one baby basically by myself. it's not something I want to go through again." Kate admitted as she looked at her best friend with a sad expression and tone in her voice as she shrugged her shoulders. She doubted if they'd ever have any more children beside Arthur. she wanted to, she was getting broody again, had been for a while if she admitted it to herself. To have another baby to hold in her arms, not her nieces or nephew, but her own child. Arthur was turning five in three months. Soon he'd be all grown up and she'd be left behind. Glen and The script didn't seem to be slowing down any time soon either and she didn't want to raise yet another child on her own. She wondered how Rina did it, they'd become friends, not as close as she was to her friends from here in London of course. but she didn't seem to have a problem with it. she had raised three young children without any problem and Mark pretty much on the road. but that's where the difference lay, she was a Texan girl as she put it, they were family oriented and she didn't mind staying at home as a housewife and raising the kids.

Kate did however, she wasn't a homebody, she could never be a housewife, waiting for her husband or boyfriend to finally make it home from his next tour around the world.

She didn't want a baby if it meant that both father and child would miss out on each other again. Maybe they were only supposed to have one baby and no more than that. Maybe Arthur was all they were supposed to have.
