After George and Arthur woke up they informed them that Catherine was at the hospital to have the new baby. It certainly had them in a buzz of excitement and questions were coming her way at a record speed as she got them ready for school. "Why don't you ask the teachers in a while." She told them, not wanting to answer how babies were born at this point. Oh, she felt sympathy for their teachers today. They'd wait a while but not too long for an answer.
When she returned back to KP, Maria and Kate waited for news together. Pippa had called her in a panic that the press had discovered about her being pregnant. Kate reassured her that everything would be alright and that things wouldn't change because of it. That she simply needed to enjoy her pregnancy and not worry about photographers and what they said or did. This was a happy moment and nothing else should matter to her and James. It was their life and not that of the press. Well she'd learned how much they could impose on one's privacy, she barely had any left herself since January.
around 9:30 Kate was checking up on some stuff Catherine had asked her in the nursery when her phone rung her up. "Hey." Kate greeted him with a smile on her face as she stuffed some more diapers in the tower of it by the changing table.
"Kate is in labour?" he asked her with a grin as she let out a chuckle, heading for the rocking chair and sat down in it. "She is, Will called me up around 5:30 to tell me they were headed to the hospital," she told him as she relaxed in the rocking chair, looking out the window and into Hyde Park as she let out a small sigh.
"And has she given birth?" Glen wondered as Kate shook her head. "No, I'm at KP. Kate has given me a list to check over. It's all in order but if it helps her." Kate chuckled as she looked around the Peter the rabbit themed nursery with a smile on her face.
"I'm going to pick Charlotte up around noon and then George and Arthur around 3 this afternoon," she added with a small sigh as she rose from the rocking chair.
"So you're taking care of things." he chuckled as she let out a chuckle of her own. "Indeed," she told him with a smile, but it wasn't as genuine as it normally was. Lately she hadn't been feeling that convinced about their relationship anymore. She knew Glen loved her, but him being constantly away from home, it wasn't how she'd imagined it to be if she ever opened her heart again. But then again she'd had plenty of chances with other guys, but then she'd held onto the hope that maybe one day Glen would come back. The point was, he'd come back but it wasn't turning out all that way she'd thought it would have been.

Two hours later Will's name came across her phone as she was driving to Wilcox nursery from Charlotte. "Hey Will?" she asked, knowing that he wouldn't call for nothing as she steered through Kensington traffic. "It's a boy." Will's voice rung out through the car as she couldn't help but let out a chuckle in happiness. "Congrats Will, How is Kate? What's the baby called?" she started ranting as she heard William chuckling on the other side of the line.
"Kate is doing fine. tired and a bit sore. but she's fine, And we don't have a name yet, maybe later today." he told her as she hummed in agreement. "I'm so happy for you guys," she told William in happiness and joy.
"Thanks, sis. I was wondering if you could bring the kids over this afternoon after school?" he asked her as Kate nearly bumped into the car behind her as she parked her Range Rover from the question being thrown her way.
"Me?" she asked him as she looked at her touch screen on the dashboard as if she could see him. "Yes, you. I don't want to leave Kate and the little one alone and they'll feel safe enough with you to face the press. I'd ask Harry but he's gone." William told her and she heard the desire to stay with Catherine and his new son. "The things I do for you Cambridge." she told him as he let out a burst of laughter. "thanks, sis. I'll owe you one." William told her with a knowing tone. "You owe me plenty already," she told him as he laughed on the other line.
