After Moon 01

"Tzuyu~yah," Sana~unnie whispered.

She looked to the side and she could see him approaching. The guys had arrived in the venue. That was why Sana called her attention.

She missed him. She hasn't seen him for almost 3 months now. She and the girls bowed to him. He also bowed to them.

Disappointed. He didn't really look at her, something he would usually do whenever both their groups were invited together for an award ceremony. Maybe later then.

His group was called for the first award of the night. It was just proper for her, for them, to stand up whenever a winner was announced. She clapped her hands and hoped for him to glance at her but to no avail, he didn't. Maybe later.

After receiving the award and gave their gratitude speech, they went back to their seats. When she saw him heading back, her eyes glistened, hoping he would smile at her subtly or even just look at her, but again, he didn't. She wanted to pout at this but cameras were all over the place.

Her group received their first award for the night but his group weren't there as they needed to prepare for their performance. Still, she walked with poise to the stage with her unnies to receive the award.

It was the moment everyone had been waiting for. His group's collaboration stage with a world renowned artist. One of his favorite artists at that. How she wished she knew what they were doing.

Usually, he would tell her but he hasn't been contacting her for a while now. Maybe, he just wanted to keep it as a secret.

She beamed looking at the stage. She knew it had something to do with this song. This song was his favorite from this artist. He even did a cover of this song and at that moment he was singing it with the real artist. She was very happy for him.

Her eyebrows scrunched a bit as the stage went on. There was something weird. Did they just play the wrong mix? This was upsetting and knowing him. She knew he wouldn't be satisfied with the whole performance. It was still really awesome though!

His group received another award again but she wasn't there as they were backstage preparing for their group stage. She wanted to congratulate him with every award they receive this night.

There was a skit before the performance. She wasn't really a funny person but she did her best for that skit and she had hoped it would make him smile too. She did her best during their performance. It's not like she never gives her 200% during their every performance.

His group had bagged 5 awards that night with 2 daesang. During the announcement of the Best Artist of the Year, she was all smiles. She faced their group and clapped for them while standing up. Hoping he could return her smiles but for the nth time, he didn't. This was making her really worried now.

At the end of the award ceremony, all artists went on stage to greet their fans. There were times when their groups would be so near to each other.

She glanced at him when he was just a few steps away from her but it was like he was avoiding her.

Her head hung low as they walked backstage after the award ceremony.

"Did he tell you yet?" that made her look up. It was Taehyung. Her eyebrows scrunched, guessing what the guy was talking about.

"Aish, this kid. I told him to tell you!" Taehyung whined. Her eyebrows were still scrunched. She didn't know what her friend was talking about.

"He had his wisdom tooth removed," Taehyung informed her. Now, she could connect the dots. Was that the reason why he wasn't really energetic the entire time?

"He's in our dressing room," Jimin, who had his fingers intertwined with Mina's, just came.

"He should be alone there," Taehyung added. She nodded at the information.

The two guys with Mina accompanied her to the guys' dressing room. She looked at Mina, concerned. Mina just nodded at her. Her friends then left her there but she was sure they were just around the corner, in case she needed help.

She then knocked at the door. It didn't take him a minute to open it. His eyes grew big. He was obviously surprised to see her at the door. She didn't know what to tell him so she just stared at him.

He grabbed her hand and made her go inside the room. He didn't let go of her hand as he had closed the door. He just kept on staring at her. His gaze was piercing but she figured out that he was also longing for her.

She examined his face. There she saw he had swollen cheeks. He released her hand from his grip and brought both hands to cup his cheeks, careful not to hurt him.

She wanted to say a lot of things to him but it could wait. What mattered more to her at that moment was being with him.

She felt him bringing his arms to her waist. He closed their distance and wrapped his arms around her torso. She also returned his warm hug. She missed him so much.
