Daydream away

Let me tell you about a girl and boy, who called themselves best friends.
Noel, was 19 years old.
She goes to Maryland state college and studies music, she’s always dreamed about being in a band, travelling the world and making music.
She had short bright red hair and Piercing blue eyes.
Noel was Petite and rather plain.
She didn’t dress like other girls,
She was more skinny jeans and band tees,
Than dress’s and frills.
Alexander, better known to his friends as Alex or lex.
He was tall and but not very muscled, with shaggy light brown hair and chocolate brown.
Alex sung in a band, they weren’t very well known for know, they were hoping to go on tour
After high school.
The boy didn’t had never had a real girlfriend, but He knew that he liked Noel ever since they met that day in there Music class on the second day of the 7th grade.
And although he felt a little stupid for having these feeling he been trapping inside,
He felt even more stupid for not telling Noel how he felt about her.
He’d spend hour going over it in his head, the pro’s and cons, how it would effect there friendship,
But most of all he thought about what would happen if he told her and she hated him for it.
So many times he planned to ask her out, but every time he found a way out.
It was a Tuesday afternoon when they were goofing around after school,
Sitting in the kitchen baking cookies,
That as the last time he looked directly into her eyes and really wanted to tell her,
He didn’t.
Instead he just smiled and started to sing her favourite song that his band had written,
And he loved it because it reminded him of Noel.
“I wish you could see your face right now
‘cause your grinning like a fool.
And we’re sitting n your kitchen floor, on
A Tuesday afternoon.
Doesn’t matter when we get back,
To doing what we do.
‘cause right now could last forever,
Just as long as I’m with you.”
She grinned and then spoke up, “I love that song so much”
I just smiled and keep singing,
“your just a daydream away,
I wouldn’t know what say if I had you.
I’ll keep you a daydream away, just watch from a safe place,
So I never have to lose”
I stop when I see he face change into one of concentration and confusion.
“what’s wrong?” Alex ask softly, Noel doesn’t answer at first, she looks out a near by window,
It was getting really dark outside.
