its not about the battle cries
the screams and yells, the voices high
its not about the lightening strike
the overpowering armies, almost ghostlike
its not about the bodies piled
the bloodied path, destruction's mile
its not about the victory
for in the end, there's none to see
its not about defeating your rival
in the end, its just survival
it is about the tears we cry
as we simply try to get by
it is about the paths we hike
to adulthood from little tyke
it is about the days we toil
to reap our own battle spoils
it is, in a way, about a victory
the daily survival, of you and me
