Chapter 2

EW. Did I really sleep with my airplane clothes and heavy makeup still on? Ugh. I got out of bed and trudged to the bathroom in my room. 

I stripped all my clothes (and eyelashes) and hopped in the shower. Oh wow, it feels great to have a hot shower instead of a half cold, half warmish one. I washed my hair with some shampoo before I put conditioner in it and wrapped it up in a bun. While my hair was soaking, I washed my face and my body, taking my time. When I was done with that, I took out my hair and rinsed it. I dried myself off with my towel and hung it back up on the railing.

While I was brushing my teeth, I connected my phone to my speaker and started blasting some music. It felt so good to be able to do things butt ass naked!! I REALLY MISSED BEING HOME!!! I started to dance with the music as I did my eyebrows and put on some mascara.

I walked to my closet, consumed in my music, and grabbed some clothes to put on for the day. I had put on my underwear and was starting to put on my bra before I looked up and saw some guy looking at me from that window across from mine! *BAM* I dropped to the floor.

That really hurt. Oh my lord, I am so embarrassed. How did I forget to close my blinds?!?! *Mental facepalm* I got dressed while I was laying on my bedroom floor. I didn't want to stand up so I crawled to my window and peeked to see if he was still looking. He's still looking. I dropped back to the floor and tried to reach around the side of the window to close my blinds. I reached as far as I could and I was almost there..... before I accidentally ripped the whole thing down.

"What the hell is up with all the noise Kat??" My mom asked with her bed hair and half done makeup.

"Mom, I think the guy across from me saw me naked," I said as my cheeks turned red. She started to laugh. She just laughed. No words. For like a few minutes.

"Oh, sweetie! That's Ian!" She said through tears of laughter. IAN??!?!??!? Oh no. Oh no. That is going to make things so beyond awkward now! SHIT. What do I do???? My mom came over to me and picked up the blinds to fix it. When she had reattached it and pulled them down, I finally got off of the floor. As she closed the door, I ran to my phone and dialed Violet's number as fast as I could.

"Hey sexy!!!" She exclaimed over the phone.

"VY!! IAN JUST SAW ME NAKED!" I yelled at her.

"WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN??" She yelled back, I proceeded to explain what had happened and just like my mom, she burst out in laughter.

"It's not funny Vy!! What am I supposed to do? Should I just avoid him?"

"Well he's your neighbor... so that would be pretty difficult."

"Fuck. You're right I really do-"

"'VIOLET COME GET YOUR BOTHER.' Damn Kat, I gotta go! I'm so sorry!!" She hung up. She really just left me hanging. What am I going to do? I'm just going to pretend it never happened. That's good, right? No, Kat, that's fucking stupid but it's all I've got.

"Kat, Ian's here!" my mom shouted from downstairs. Oh shit. Oh fuck. I slowly started to walk downstairs and there he was standing in the doorway. Wow. He got really handsome. Like really handsome. I'd say he stands about 6"2 and he is like really built. His big hazel eyes still look the same though and he still has that boyish smile.

"Hey Kat," Ian said with his arms open for a hug. I smiled sheepishly at him and ran into his arms. He smells really good. "Missed you bud," he said as I stepped back from his arms. Maybe he's gonna pretend like it never happened too.

"I missed you too, it was prison up there," I laughed.

"Wanna go catch up over some coffee or something?" He intrigued.

"Sure, let me go grab my jacket from upstairs," I ran upstairs and back down with my jacket.

"Ready?" He smirked. I nodded and we were heading out the door. Oh boy I have a feeling this year is gonna be interesting.
