Chapter 1

Nelly, a troubled girl, was living in the woods alone, after her sister died she no longer wanted to associate with other humans, IF they were still alive. She had no clue if other people were still alive or if she was the only one in a world of hell. She woke up and sat her head on a tree stump, she stretched for a while before pulling out a cigarette from her small blue bag and lighting it with a old, but still useful lighter. She hesitated to put it in her mouth before quickly shoving it in her mouth, breathing the air, then spitting the cigar onto the grass. She covered her mouth before getting up and vomiting all over a knocked over tree. While doing so, she heard footsteps, she quickly grabbed her pink knife her sister made and put it up, still with vomit in her mouth, she swallowed it back in an started to speak.

"Hey asshole! Come out!"

She started banging on a tree beside her trying to bring the thing out into the open, she thought it was a walker because she heard the footsteps coming towards her as she banged on the tree, suddenly she dropped her knife as she realised it was a woman and a man, with two girls with ginger hair,

"Who the hell-"

As she spoke the woman ran up to her and hit her in the side of her cheek forcefully with her shotgun, Nel fell faced down onto the ground still able to see, she see's the woman bend down, getting a rope, then picking her up and putting her in a truck with the other two girls. As Nel started gaining her consciousness back, she saw one of the girls talking to the other, one of the girls had a short, but long hair cut, but the other had one side of her hair cut, Nel then sat up with a bandage over her head, the girl with a short but long haircut laid her back down,

"Hey, hey, be quite she'll hear you."

The girl said while the other looked through one of the hallways between a crack in the door, Nel pushed the girl off of her and put a mad expression on her face.

"Where the hell am I?!? And who the fucking hell are you?!"

"I'm Sophie, and the girl over there is Minerva, Minnie for short."

The girl said with a soft tone in her voice, Nel couldn't believe her eyes, there was actually more people who survived this hell?! Suddenly all three of them heard loud banging on the door, suddenly Minerva ran to Nel and Sophie and gave Sophie a gun, Minerva opened the door as soldiers with guns entered the room, suddenly Minerva shoots some of them in the head while Sophie opens a window. She then looks at Nel with a smile on her face grabbing her supplies, food, and more water to put in a bag and throw it out of the window. A soldier then attacks Minerva as Sophie demands Nel to jump out the window if she wants to survive,

"But what about you guys? You need help and I can't go without-"

"Shut up and go before she finds out we helped you escape!"

She says as she hears a womans raspy voice call out both of their names, Nel the looks at Sophie with a smile before jumping out of the window, and landing on a bush, suddenly a woman comes running in the room as she hears her speak,

"Damnit! She got away!"

She heard as she ran away, she could hear talking before they faded as she ran faster and faster. She then ran out of breath and passed out in front of a big gate, she could see a glimpse of someone running towards her before completely shutting her eyes. She then woke up to a girl with blonde hair and a tall boy, with loose dread locks standing in front of her, trying to escape she tries to lift up her arm but realises that she is chained to the bed, the boy then speaks to Nel as the girl with blonde hair leaves the room.

"Hey, you're awake, thats good. So, who are you and how did you find us?"

"It wasn't my intention to find you guys, dumbass. I got kidnapped but these girls with ginger hai-"

"Ginger hair? Can you explain what they looked like?"

"Well one had Long, but short hair, and the other one had The side of her hair cut. But I'm pretty sure they both had freckles."

The boy looked at her with shock in his eyes, he then moved away from her and towards the door opening it, he then looked down the hall before shouting.

"Hey..Guys we might have a problem.."
