It was a beautiful name with a dark meaning.

Lilith however, was a beautiful angel. Her light brown locks that fell to her knees that had been tied into cute loose pigtails, her beautiful shining sky blue orbs, her perfect fair skin, who could ask for more? Her giggles and laughter as sweet as music to anyone's ears, a voice so soft and angelic especially when she sang. The young female's smile that went from ear to ear. Her beautiful white dress

She could brighten up anyone's day in Heaven, her parents were lucky to have such a wonderful daughter.

At this age she was only 6 when she had met him.

Lilith had been wandering around the beautiful skies when she heard someone crying. Cheering people up was her specialty and she knew just how to do it. The cries became audible when she got to the gate, a male around the same age or a year older was huddled in a ball, leaning against the metal bars separating the realms.

"What is wrong?" She asked the boy, who seemed startled and glanced behind him to see the female, concerned.
"It's nothing" he sniffled, wiping  away his tears. Lilith gave him a smile "I won't push you to answer me, but what might your name be?" She sat down and crossed her legs, her little white wings still small, clenched to her back. "N-Nathan" the boy stuttered.

"Nathan.." She repeated and looked up to get a clear picture of Nathan's face "Well, I'm Lilith! It is very nice to meet you!" The boy's chained down wings, fluttered a bit, his black to blood red ombré hair, a white upside down cross on his pitch black t-shirt and jeans, his black converse with hints of red, his black and red devil horns, and his piercing black orbs made Lilith's heart beat.

The boy gave a smile back, as they both soon begin talking. The spoke about their families and what they like and dislike about their chosen realms.

A friendship was blossoming between them and it was wonderful. The more Nathan spoke, the more Lilith became interested in the demon. She didn't know what this feeling was so she decided to hide it.

"Lilith Charlotte Mitchell! It's time to come home!" She heard her mother call for her before looking back at the boy

"Will I see you again?" She asked as Nathan nodded "Come by the same time tomorrow! I'll see you then!"

Lilith sighed, she was now 13 and reselling Nathan the story of how they met, Nathan was 14 and he loved everything that came out of the Angel's mouth. Her words was laced with sweetness, her eyes focused on his as he listened to everything she had to say whether it was how her day went to what she did on earth to help the humans.

Nathan knew deep down that he loved her. But a love between them could never happen, it was forbidden and if she had ever crossed she would not be accepted back into heaven. And he didn't want her to cross just for him. His bat-like chained down wings were closed on his back, as for Lilith's, they were at the awkward stage where her winds were spread but the white feathers were still growing. She often hid them but he told her not to worry. He liked the way it look. To him it was adorable.

They had been talking for hours on end when they heard a gasp coming from behind Lilith, her father, who stood disappointed and her mother who did not mind the two speaking to each other, let alone love each other, but she had no say in this.

"Father, this is my friend Nathan, Nathan these are my parents!" Lilith smiled as Nathan bowed down to the parents.
"Lilith, you are to go back home this instant! When you're in your room I'm going to have a talk with you" her father scolded which was rare. Nathan's eyes went wide in confusion and fear for Lilith. "But father-" she tried to speak up only to be glared down upon "I can not believe my precious daughter is around such a monster" he spat as Lilith began to tear up as she ran home. Her father right on her trail while her mother stayed behind and spoke to Nathan "Do not worry.. I will make sure she will still be able to see you..I've never seen Lilith happier around someone like you in her life and I thank you for being with my daughter.." Her words sounded promising and his expression was shocked by what Lilith's mother had said.

The older female began walking home. Leaving Nathan at the gate before he wandered home, his mind racing and his heart pounding.

"If only it wasn't between us... I could hold you in my arms...Do not fret Lilith... I'll protect you no matter what or how much it hurts...I love you.."
