It was supposed to be just another day but who knew that today would be the day that would change both of your lives forever , you were sitting in the living room eating a bowl of ice catching up on one of your favorite shows, The Originals

"NO don't trust her !" You yelled at the tv stuffing another spoonful of ice in your mouth , just as Niall walks in.

"Hey babe what are you eating" he says and you look up to see him sitting down next to you looking at your bowl like it was his next meal you handed him the bowl smiling knowing he would hand it right back.

"Why are you eating a bowl of ice ?" He asked handing it back to you immediately you shrugged and turned your attention back to the tv, before he spoke again.

"(Y/N..) your diet has been so really really weird lately I'm worried about you and now you're eating ice ? "

"Whats wrong with my diet?" You responded confusedly

"You only want to drink Apple Juice now, you hate the smell or thought of chicken and you love chicken, you haven't even really eaten meat but let there not be any mangos or strawberries, in the house you'll go nuts." "So what's going on baby,
Are you pregnant?" He finally asks and you spit out the ice you had on your tongue straight in his face out of shock.

"What how could I be pregnant?" You say tears threatening to start.

"I mean you act like it's impossible I love you , we have sex it's possible." Niall shrugs

"Niall I can't be pregnant I don't want kids" You say

"You don't want kids ? Why has this never been mentioned we've been together for years. You never said you didn't want kids Y/N"

"It just never came up you never asked-"

"I assumed you wanted kids, so because I never asked you were never going to tell me ? I want kids you see how I am with the kids in my family I want kids this is unbelievable." He sighs before handing you a pregnancy test

"I'm not taking this Niall I can't take this."

"You have to take it (Y/N) stop being stubborn and take the damn test."

"It's not going to change how I feel about having kids." You admit and he takes a deep breath before standing staring at the tv screen

"I need to get some air please take the test so we at least know, we can discuss how we will get rid of it if that's what you wanna do when I get back." He says looking back at you and you notice tears in his eyes you nod watching him slowly walk to the door like he just lost his favorite guitar pick you start to feel bad but you never really wanted kids, and although you definitely should have told him beforehand you were scared of what he might think, what he might do would he consider to pursue you if he knew where you stand on something that's obviously so important to him.

Niall wanted kids with you and that was something you would never be able to give him.

You shook all the negative thoughts from your head and went to the bathroom with the test in your hand.

You read the instructions for the test and followed them , and sat on the toilet to await the result.
