It was a normal day for Mare, walking around the beach not giving two thoughts about the rubbish she left on it. Mare noticed her friends not too far from her and began to run towards them.

"Hey guys!" she called. The people she calls friends to turn around and smile as she comes close to them. "Hey, Alex O'Brien, Claire Heathers, and Martin Donalds" She slowed down when they were about a meter away.

"Wassup?" Alex responded with finger guns the rest waved. Once they fell in step with each other, Mare began to question them.

"So, where were you guys? I looked everywhere for you, oh well...where are we going?" she looked down the line of people in bathing suits.

"Claire and I are gonna head home now." Claire giggled and Martin began kissing her. Mare remembered she didn't want to see any 'lovey' stuff so she ran away with Alex trailing behind her.

'.'.'.'.'.'

"Are you sure about this?" He questioned looking down the cliff, she told him about.

"Yeah! I have done it loads of times!" she reassured. Mare walked towards him and let out a smile. "I'm going to warn you, the water is quite deep, and by quite I mean a lot. this is the ocean after all" she shouted over the crashing water. His eyes widened as she flew over the edge and disappeared into the waves. Down with Mare, she had her arms wrapped around her throat and was screaming for help. She had breathed in the plastic that keeps the beer cans together. while she was going down she knew she wouldn't make it out alive, so she opened her eyes. It stung and she wanted nothing more but to close them again but found that she couldn't, she was so far down she had reached the fishes, But there were unforgivable sights, ones of fishes swimming in plastic bags. a turtle with a bottle in its mouth. a  seahorse that seems to never want to let go of a cotton bud. The girl's eyesight was getting dreary and she was getting very sleepy. A turtle swam over to her but it was almost unrecognizable, it was coved in fishnets and had its head poking through one of the many holes. Mare couldn't stand to see the damage that she had done to wildlife she attempted to move and swim up but she was too far down also the pain was too much to bear. All too suddenly a hand pulled her upwards and away from the darkness of the ocean.

"And that is why I want to set up this charity, to save the lives of our, very very, distant relatives," Mare called as she pitched her idea

"What is so special about your idea? there are many just like it."

"I know how to get things done" She smirked. everyone clapped and praised her on her good work.

"Mrs. O'Brien, you have successfully started, The price they pay charity!"
