Pip's POV

last period

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The last bell rings and I watch as all the students shoot up from their seats and run out of the room, I, however, am not in a rush to go home, I don't want to see my sister.
 I stand up and proceed to leave the classroom with the other students. I don't want my sister to yell at me either (and she will if I get home late.)
 Eventually, I leave the school building, but, there is somebody yelling for me.
"Hey Frenchie, get over here!" They yell, it's Cartman, I hesitantly turn around.
"Yes?" I respond, slowly walking towards him, I know how this is going to end, but if I talk back or don't obey Cartman will be angry. (It has happened before, it isn't grand, trust me.)
I sigh, I get as close as I can until- WHACK
I fall to the ground in shock, that was a harder hit than any of the other times. I feel my nose, I don't think it's broken, but with the pain I'm feeling, it might as well be.
I look at the ground and watch as blood drips onto the sidewalk.
"Well, I have more important things to do, so goodbye Frenchie!" He cheers, obviously proud of himself.
"Goodbye.." I sigh, trying to remain as polite as possible, but when this happens everyday it's hard. It really is.
I finally arrive home. I know my sister is going to be mad.
I walk in my house to my sister and her husband fighting. I hold my breath, as soon as she notices my presence the yells will start.
"PIP!? WHY ARE YOU SO LATE!?" She yells. I'm only 5 minutes later than usual. I roll my eyes.
"Sorry Ms. it won't happen again." I scrunch my nose, hoping she accepts that. She goes by Ms. because she doesn't want to admit that's she's married to her husband.
"SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT! YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN HOME!" She yells louder.
"Darling, please. He apologized, let's leave at that. If he does it again, he will be punished." Her husband defended me.
That's odd, usually by now he would be screaming as well. What has gotten into him?
"DON'T CALL ME DARLING!" She shouted, yet again.
"Then file the divorce papers already!" He exclaimed, with tears welding in his eyes.
"Maybe I will!" She left through the back door.
I gave my brother-in-law a sympathetic look and walked to my small bedroom.
"Hey, uh Pip?" He asked nervously.  I look back at him.
"Not now, sir." I didn't know what he wanted exactly, but I don't want anything about it. It's probably him asking for advice on marriage, like I'd now anything about that.
I sit on the mattress in my room, I never really had a bed.
They're not even going to divorced. They always say they will and they never do it. It ends in my sister crying because she wants his money.
Yes, my sister only married her husband because of his money.
I don't have any homework today, so I don't have anything to do. So, I do what I usually do when I don't have homework. Sleep.
I lay down and shut my eyes.
6:00 AM~ Tuesday.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~'

I wake up to the sound of yelling. They're at it again? This early in the morning? Can't they just leave each over alone for a little bit?

I get ready for school (teeth brushing, hair brushing, getting dressed ect.).

I grab my backpack and walk out of my house as fast as possible. I don't want them to even notice me.

I arrive at school and go to the same class I've been going to first everyday. Class starts and I get out my binder.

I glance at Damien. He's fiddling with something on his desk. I look away before he can see me looking at him. I smile.

What? You expect me to not be happy about having a new friend?

"Okay Class, you're going to be put into groups, got it?"The teacher announces. "Kyle and Stan." "Token and Clyde." "Kenny and Wendy." "Bebe and Craig." "Tweek and Heidi."

At this point, I could either work with Damien, Cartman, or the teacher. I cross my fingers.

"Damien and Pip." I smile and thank God in my head. "That leaves you with me, Eric."

"Aw Fuck you!" He yells and walks to the front desk.

I walk over to Damien with a cheery smile.

"Hello Damien." I greet. He raises an eyebrow. "Oh, well, the teacher, he assigned us together." I awkwardly state.

"And?" Damien stares blankly.

"Well we have to do this assignment- wait. What did he assign us?" I realize. "That bastard didn't even give us anything!"

"Good Job you used common sense!" Damien says in a fake cheery voice and sarcastically claps. "Here's your gold star!" He hands me a pile of eraser dust.

"Oh golly, what a swell reward!" I joke. "So, should I ask what we're supposed to do?"

"Nah, it's his fault he didn't give us the work." Damien says.

"Well I'm not complaining." I smile.

"That's the spirit." He gives me a pat on the back with a fake smile plastered on his face, which immediately turns into his blank expression.

"So.. What's your thing?" He asks.

"My thing?" I repeat.

"Yeah, like I'm the son of Satan which makes me unique. That's my thing. What's yours?" He seems annoyed.

"My thing..." I think. "I don't really have a thing..." I frown.

"Do you have unique parents?"

"I don't even have parents." I sigh.

"Oh?"

"They're dead." I tear up just a smidge.

"Oh.." he looks a bit sympathetic . I can't tell to be quite honest.

"Yep." I look down.

"Siblings?" He asked.

"A bitch of a sister if that counts." I roll my eyes.

"Oh.. Well sisters are annoying." He says.

"And so are their bloody husbands." I look at him blankly.

"Hm." He thinks.

"Are you good at any sports?" He asks.

"Not really." I look at him.

The bell rings and I go back to my desk to grab my stuff. I wave my goodbyes to Damien and head to period 2.

See you at lunch Damien.
