"You'd think I'm used to random statements like that." Kate muttered to herself with a shake of her head as Meghan and Will grinned at her. "hey sis." Will smiled as he kissed her cheek, followed by Kate. "Hey, bud." Kate grinned down at George. "Can I have a glass of juice, Aunty Kate?" George asked her as she nodded her head and getting into her kitchen to pour a glass. She could see William greeting everyone in a formal manner followed by Meghan.
"Don't you have a toilet at home Cambridge?" she asked her best friend as Kate shook her head. "It's this baby I need to pee every five minutes," Catherine told her, apparently still not noticed that there were people in the room. Kate realised the moment when she did notice. "Sorry." She muttered with blushing cheeks. "Three more weeks at most love." Will told her as he kissed the side of her head. "Easy for you to say, you don't have a baby in your stomach." She told Will as she swatted the back of her hand on William's stomach. "Can I borrow your blue dress?" Catherine asked her.
"Which one?" Kate asked her as she looked up from putting some more cereal in front of George and Arthur. "The one with the lace. The one you wore to the exhibit two weeks before you gave birth." Catherine reminded her as Kate nodded her head. "I'll go get it," Kate told her as she rushed up the stairs in her heel and pulled the dress from its hangar. "Here," Kate told her as she held it out to Catherine.
"Thanks, you know what you're going to wear to the birthday dinner?" Meghan asked her as Kate shook her head. "Nine out of ten I'll go through Kate's closet," Kate admitted as Catherine grinned at her. "You know where she is." Catherine simply said with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Your birthday dinner?" Glen wondered, knowing she was turning 30 in seven days and he hated the fact that he was going to miss it. "Not mine. I've sworn them not to do anything." Kate told them all as she gave the three Royals a warning look.
"Maybe." Catherine grinned at her. "Anyway, we better get going if these two are going to be on time, have fun with gran." Will said as he kissed Catherine goodbye and rallying George and Arthur outside. "We better get going as well. It's half an hour driving to Windsor." Kate told them as she looked at Meghan and Kate.
"You going to be okay?" she asked Catherine with a worried glance at her stomach. "I'll be fine, this isn't my first you know," Catherine told her with a playful nudge of her elbow. "I know but I'm not going to drive you when you're going to give birth." She told her with a teasing tone.
"Damn here I thought you were going to catch the baby." Catherine told her with a chuckle as Kate rolled her eyes and Meghan stood by snickering. "come on let's go before we even shock these people more." Kate noted as she slipped on her coat. "Who are you having lunch with?" Glen asked, surprised to hear William say to have fun with his gran.
"The Queen," she whispered with a cheeky grin as she kissed his lips. "Have fun boys," Kate called out after her as she rallied Catherine and Meghan out of her house and into her car. Leaving a stunned group of men behind. Kate hadn't been so silent with her announcement of lunch with the Queen and then there was the fact that they had just met two Royals, four if you counted George and Meghan. They were more than a little stunned, even Mark and Danny who'd seen Will and Kate in a fleeting moment before.
"Is that normal?" His brother asked him as Glen realised that it was slowly becoming normal to him. He used to have a stunned face like that when meeting them. Not it didn't stun him as much anymore. he'd seen them in far crazier teasing modes before at dinner and such. But the fact that she was having lunch with The Queen, now that was another shocker.
"For Kate, it is," Glen noted with a chuckle as he looked at his family and friends. "She's like family to them. I've learned to not pull a face like that anymore." He snickered, pointing at all of them. "Did you know she was having lunch with The Queen?" Danny asked him with a stunned face. "No, probably didn't want me to fuss about it," Glen noted as he bent down to pick up a box.
