Don't Do It ~ Suicide

Dedicated to a friend who is amazing and is going through a tough time, but I know she will make it 'til the end. She is a beautiful person. Love you! ;D

"Don't do it." I said as she picked up the knife

I won't let my friend take her own life.

She is most beautiful in her own way.

I made her put the knife away.

"Don't do it." I said as she pointed the gun.

'"The world is against me, 7 billion to one."

"None of that matters, what matters is this."

She swerved the gun so it just missed.

"Don't do it." I said as my friend tied the noose.

She looked down at me, and cut herself loose.

"Thank you." she said, stepping down from the chair.

"Thank you for simply being there."

"Don't do it." I said as she picked up the pill.

She knew the overdose would kill.

I cried and pulled her close to me.

"You're beautiful, why can't you see?"

So think before you commit suicide.

How many people would be sad if you died.

How many people would be by your side.

How many people would have sat down and cried.

~

At times like these, you must try your best,

to think of life as a test.

Suicide is not a choice.

You have to reach out, show people your voice.

~

It is a happy time afterwards, for people who get through it.

So my advice is simply "Don't do it."
