P R O L O G U E

"how are you honey? Are you eating? Have you made any friends?” the mom asked her son, worried about him. He had just moved into his own house, in a new country and is going to college.

  Sighing Bambam lies through his teeth, “yes ma, I'm taking care of myself, i'm okay. I'm fine.”  He thinks about it to himself. He has no friends and only eats ramen everyday. He is alone and not healthy at all.

  His mom figures it was a lie but decides to trust him. “Honey, just remember that I'm always here. Call me if you need help with anything,”  she reminds him. She is his mother and would do anything for her son.

  Looking back at his conversation, Bambam decides that he needs to make some new friends. He just didn't know how. Walking around his 3 bedroom apartment, he comes up with an idea, what if he gets a roommate?  He would not only become closer to that person but also he would have enough money to eat other things besides instant ramen.

  Taking his time Bambam makes an ad specifying that he would like to find a roommate, preferably someone that goes to the same college as he does. Hitting share, he gets up and makes himself a bowl of instant ramen. Hey, he can't stop his addiction that fast.

       

  Yugyeom is walking around town when he saw a park and decided to rest for a bit. Pulling out his phone, he finds that his friend tagged him in an ad to share an apartment with a roommate. Usually, Yugyeom would never even consider sharing an apartment with a random stranger, but he was desperate.

 A couple days ago his parents kicked him out of the house for being gay. He came out to then in confidence that they would accept him. But they did the opposite.

  As his parents were famous business owners, they couldn't cut him off fully, without backlash from the public. So he still was paid an allowance, a HUGE allowance. Enough that he could pay rent for that apartment and pay for and other things he would need. He didn't want to live off that money for any longer than he had to. He didn't want to use money that his ignorant parents gave him.

  He decided then and there that he'll try it. A plus to the roommate thing is that they were going to the same college. Maybe they could become friends?
