Beacon here we come

I chuckled at how childish she was when she was tired and turned my head and pecked her lips, she leaned into it but when i pulled away and sat up she began grabbing at the air to find me.

Getting out of bed i walked into the bathroom connected to my room and walked infront of the mirror.

I realised that i was one: Missing a shirt and two: Had gathered some muscules over the half a year i've been training.

Feeling a pair of arms wrap around my waist i saw Raven rest her head on my shoulder in the mirror relfection

Raven: You've become handsome

I could tell she was still sleepy but it was cute, he looked to her as we leaned in and kissed. Pulling back she smirked and rested her head again

Me: You mean to say i wasn't handsome in the first place?

Raven: What if i did? Anyway could you get out, need to use the bathroom

I came out and closed the door, getting dressed i felt the present Raven gave me around my finger

Flashback start

In a week we're leaving for Beacon, it had been confirmed by the headmaster and the documents had been finished.

We were have a celebration for two... three... reasons. It was mine and Raven's and her twin brother's birthday today and he thought that he's come around.

I got him a flask since he keeps sneaking liqour around and for Raven i worked on a necklace. The gem was actually a fire dust crystal that i put some of my aura in.

Walking on the front room with the two presents in boxes i saw Qrow drinking some whiskey he took with him before Raven snatched it away from him.

Kali sat down on the sofa with Raven and i joined Qrow the other sofa.

Me: So Qrow i got you this

I handed him the box as he gave me one in return. He opened his and smirked before patting me on the shoulder

Qrow: You just made this a whole lot easier for me

I opened mine and stared at it blankly as Qrow tried to hold back his laughs.

Kali: What is it

I pulled out a box of condoms as Qrow doubled over laughing.

Qrow: You two aren't ready for kids yet

Raven slapped round the back of the head with a huge blush on her face.

Raven: You aren't getting your present!

Qrow: Aww, c'mon sis. Can't you take a joke?

She huffed and threw him a box, he thanked her and pulled out a red cape that i helped her work on

Kali handed us presents from her which for me and Raven were the next books to series we were reading and for Qrow... was a bottle of scotch

She scratched the back of her head nervously and he wrapped her arm around her saying

Qrow: If i wasn't already drunk i'd kiss ya!

Raven and I traded presents nervously, she opened her's as i did the same with mine.

She made me a ring with an ice dust crystal in it. We hugged and kissed eachother for the presents and put them on eachother

Flashback end

I fiddled with the ring as it rested on my right middle finger, she came out the bathroom and waved as she went out the door to get changed.

Stepping off the bullhead a blonde guy with blue eyes and a weird crest on his chest bumped into us and apologised.

Me: So... Where do we go?

Qrow: Yeah i'm lost as well

Me: Girls?

I looked around to see that Raven and Kali had been dragged off somewhere. I slouched over and sighed but perked up when i heard a voice

?: You guys lost?

I looked over to see a guy in blue hoodie, he had dark hair and violet eyes, he also had a katana strapped to his back.

Me: Yeah, I'm Y/N and this is Qrow. Who are you?

?: John Rayner, but call me John. Come with me, i know where to go

Qrow: Lead the way

He took a swig from his flask as we followed behind this "John" guy
