In 2016, Dr. Lewis Aptekar retired as a professor in Counselor Education at San José State University's Connie L. Lurie College of Education. Dr. Aptekar's diverse career includes working in more than thirty different countries, authoring and co-authoring published books and articles, and serving as a Visiting Professor with various prestigious institutions internationally. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis Aptekar enjoys riding horses, spending time with his two children, and writing fiction.
