CHACE’s POV
We’re just done with our basketball practice. But where the hell is Tristan? Tss, that bastard. Always ditching classes and practices whenever he wants to.
I texted Aria.
Ms. Beautiful. Where are you?
She replied after 3 minutes.
Hahaha! Bolero! SB. With D and Kuya Ark. Are you coming?
Okay. Will be there in 15 minutes.
I replied. Pero what’s bolero again? Maybe I’ll just ask her later.
I had shower and changed my clothes.
I’m on my way to my baby.. my chevy camaro, when Ysa called me.
“C! Come on let’s hang out!”
“Aww, sorry Ysa I can’t right now. I have to go to Aria. She’s expecting me. Anyways, you wanna come?”
“A-ahhh. Is that so.. Well, next time maybe. Kayo nalang. Enjoy!” And she left quickly. Maybe we can hang out in some other days.
I went inside my car and left the academy.
On my way to the coffeeshop, I saw Tristan on the sidewalk na parang wala sa sarili.
I honked for him to notice me. It looks like he recognized my car and he went nearer. He went inside the car sitting beside the driver’s seat.
“Why did you ditch the practice? Coach was furious.”
But he didn’t answer. He’s just looking outside the window car.
“By the way, I’m on my way to SB to join Aria and the others. Sabay ka na sakin.”
“Ahh, hindi na. Bababa na ako. Uuwi nalang ako. Pakisabi nalang kay Den, wag siya papagabi.”
He said coldly. I think he got a problem. He’s not like this very often.
“I’ll just text Aria. Let’s go to the restobar.”
He didn’t say anything so I texted Aria.
Hey, something came up with Tristan. I need to accompany him for the moment. He looks depressed. Kindly tell Denise that his brother wants him to go home early. Sorry Ria I can’t bring you home today. Take care okay? Text me when you get home.
She replied immediately.
Really? Oh okay. I’ll see you tomorrow. Hope he’ll be fine. I understand. Kuya Ark will bring me home. Take care! x
ARIA’s POV
“Nagtext si Chace. Hindi na raw siya makakasunod dito. Something came up with Tristan daw.”
“Tristan?” Paguulit naman ni D.
“Yeah, he looks pretty depressed daw right now.”
“Uhhh, nasan siya?” Pag-aaalalang tanong ni D.
“I don’t know but Chace is with her. He told me na pinapasabi ng kambal mo na umuwi ka raw ng maaga.”
“He’s really protective, eh?” Sabi naman ni Kuya.
“I wonder why he’s depressed. Wala sa itsura niya ang ganun eh.”
