What a day Part 1 (Chicago P.D.)

Hailey goes out to the living room and saw Jay sleep in the couch, confused
Hailey: morning sleepy head, wakey", a little lost from your room huh?
Jay begin to open his eyes
Jay: what time is it? Guess I slept in last night
Hailey: almost 8, I better get going or else I'll be late, take care of yourself
Hailey is about to go when Jay grab her hand
Jay: wait for me
Hailey: I thought you're talking a leave?
Jay: no, I don't need to be alone longer, you know how it ends up when I'm alone
Hailey: I bet Voight wants you to take leave though
Jay: I know, I'll deal with Voight later, I'll be ready in 5
Hailey: ok
Jay go to his room and get ready, then they go off to work

Hailey and Jay come in to the bullpen
Hank: Halstead, my office
Jay go to his office
Kim: so
Hailey: what?
Kim: you two come in together?
Hailey: yeah, so?
Adam: so? You know Voight dislike in house romance
Hailey: it's not like that
Antonio: really? It seems like that though?
Hailey: no, it's not, but I'm sure you guys don't believe me
Kevin: it's hard to belive
Hailey: yeah, whatever

Meanwhile at Hank's office
Hank: i told you to take a leave
Jay: I know sarge, but if I'm alone at home, I can go crazy
Hank: and being here make it different?
Jay: yeah, at least I have someone else here and I have things to do
Hank: someone else by mean Upton?
Jay: all of them sarge, not only Hailey
Hank: yeah, I don't buy it, the way you look at her
Jay: it's not like the last time
Hank: yeah, I know, but heading to the same direction, just different way
Jay: what do you mean?
Hank: maybe you don't realize but she's the only one who can push you to be better, I know you go to therapy because of her and I know how you two care for each other, time will tell
Jay: and I tought you disagree with in house romance
Hank: I still though, but seeing what she can do to you, and after everything, I owe it to you, so if that's what you're afraid of, I'll give both of you pass on that
Jay: you don't need to do that
Hank: that's the least I can do for you
Antonio knocked the door
Antonio: sarge, we got a case
Hank: ok
They go out from Hank's office

Antonio talk about the missing girl and the detail
Hank: ok, so I want Burgess and Atwater to ask around the school, Upton and Halstead go to the park, Antonio, go to the neighborhood, your partner will be there and Ruzek you follow me to get the footage
Antonio: guess you'll partner me with the newbie?
Hank: her name is detective Clark, transfer from LAPD
Antonio: got it
Everyone go out but Voight hold upstead
Hank: wait, I need to tell you two something
Hailey: what is it sarge?
Hank: Brenan wants you two in her office, so you two fo there first
Jay: ok sarge
They go

Hailey and Jay walk to Brenan office
Hailey: what do you think she want from us?
Jay: no idea, and I don't think we made a mistake
Hailey: let's just deal with it
Jay: let's go

They go in
Jay: you want to see us?
Brenan: yes, take a seat
They seat down
Hailey: so, to what we owe the pleasure?
Brenan give them what looks like a contract
Jay: what is this?
Brenan: read the whole thing first then I'll explain
They started to read the contract and their face expression change as they read page by page until the last page
Hailey: you're serious about this? It's against the rules
Brenan: that's the point, I want to tell that we're different and we care for our own
Jay: so this is a politic attempt huh?
Brenan: whatever it is, is non of your concern, you two just have to do your part
Hailey: and if we don't want to sign this NDA?
Brenan: your team and your jobs are on the line
Hailey: how long do you give us to think about this?
Jay suddenly sign the paper
Brenan: as fast as you can detective, it's on you now detective Upton
Hailey: fine
Hailey sign the paper too
Brenan: thank you
Hailey: one question, why us?
Brenan: because you two are one of the best we have and we all can see the chemistry you two have, this need to be realistic and one more, the lesser people know the better, so now it's up to both of you to plan on how you two make this work, you have a year for that
Jay: ok, fine, if there's nothing more, we have a case to solve
Brenan: ok, I'll be waiting for your action
They left Brenan room
