Weeks later
It did you good, staying with me.
But it also made me feel... something. I’m still not sure what it is. A mixture of admiration and awe, compassion and loyalty. We’ve yet to talk about it, and I don’t really mind that fact.
Your dreams you accomplished.
Heroes everywhere, from the caped to the simple vigilantes and watchers are discovering a new presence. Something that is taking care of business for them. Some, many, claim that someone helped them through the toughest spots. That there is a ghost out there hunting down the bad guys and rooting out the little evils of our city.
One day, they’ll remember you.
And I will never forget.
