Reincarnation Thoughts

I really don't know

Why everyone must die

When they leave this Earth,

Go up to the sky.

Or go away below

Depending on their life.

Although down there,

They'll have a lot more strife.

But what if I wanted

To live again and again?

Reincarnate as a

Beautiful flower or hen?

¤¤¤¤¤

Sometimes I wonder

What it would be like

To be a blue bird

Flying high as a kite.

¤¤¤¤¤

Or be a new person!

Oh, how fun that'd be!

I'd live a new life,

Start a new story!

¤¤¤¤¤

Or I could be a crow

It'd be fun, you know.

I could steal food from people

And put on a show!

Or how about this-

Live life as a fly.

I only know this-

Not long till I'd die.

So maybe it's best

To just be a turtle.

No more troubles for me,

No more problems to hurdle.

On a different note,

I could just be a star.

People could wish on me,

But I'd be so far...
