"Aw." CJ traced the thin crescent moon, practically speechless.

"And then there's this one," Josh opened the second box, showing the contents to her. This one was a bracelet with a similar design, just a different moon phase and her birthday on the back of it. "It's your moon."

CJ took both of them into her hands, a broad smile on her face due to his thoughtfulness. Josh was only able to see her smile from the neon lights that hung on the wall.

"The necklace is yours and the bracelet is mine."

"Here," CJ handed the necklace to him. "Put it on."

Josh moved her hair out of the way, draped it over her neck, and clipped the chain together.

"I love it." CJ gave him a sweet kiss, trying not to let the tears fall from her eyes.

"And now you'll always have me with you."

"I know." CJ nodded, clutching the moon in her hand.

"Are you crying?" Josh asked in disbelief.

"Yeah," CJ nodded. "I just love you so much and you're so sweet."

"Don't cry," Josh told her, smiling a bit as he wiped under her eyes. "I'll cry."

"I got you something too." CJ pulled a small box out of her dresser and pulled an item from it. Before Josh could even see what it was, CJ set the small sign on the side table and plugged it in. In bright, red florescent lights read the date, 1-1.

"It's our date." Josh cooed.

"Mhm." CJ nodded, smiling proudly at her gift. "Do you like it?"

"Of course," Josh hugged her close, giving her a sweet kiss. "Gosh."

"What's wrong?" CJ asked, her palm resting on his cheek.

"Absolutely nothing," Josh shook his head. "It's just that.. everything is so perfect right now. Everything is going so well. The band is getting bigger and you're getting better. Even we as a couple are growing a lot."

"Yeah." CJ nodded, a smug smile on her face.

Josh grinned before going in for another kiss, his hand taking a grip on her waist. The pair pulled apart for a second, gazing at each other before silently agreeing on what to do next.

Josh guided her to the bed and let her lay down before he climbed on top of her, initiating a passionate kiss.

"Wait." CJ gently pushed his chest and got out from under him.

"What?" Josh got readjusted, leaning against the headboard and watched as CJ took her picture frame off the wall, then he realized what she was doing. "CJ, don't do that."

CJ was silent as she removed the 1975's self titled album from the picture frame, then from the sleeve for the first time and placed it on the spindle.

"You said that was special-"

"I wanna share my special things," CJ straddled him, grabbing his hands and placing them on her thighs. "With my special person."

When Josh realized what she meant, his mouth hung open slightly. "Really?"

"Mhm." CJ nodded.

"Are you sure?" Josh wanted her full permission.

"Yes."

CJ pressed her lips gently against Josh's. He let out a nervous shudder of breath as he kissed her back. His hands found their way around her waist as he brought her closer.

Josh's fingers fiddled with the ends of her shirt, hinting he wanted it off. "May I?" He asked softly between kisses.

"Yeah." She nodded quickly, holding her arms up.

He carefully pulled it over her, being mindful of her head. "God, you're gorgeous." His eyes were roaming all over as his hand caressed the side of her body.

"Josh, don't.." CJ looked away for a moment. Thankfully the room was dimly lit, or else he would have seen the slight blush building up on her cheeks.

"I mean.. I'm telling the truth-" he started before CJ cut him off with another heated kiss.

She ran a gentle hand through his blond curls and allowed her other hand to caress her boyfriend's cheek.

Josh started to take his own shirt off before CJ moved her own hands to help him remove it. She took that moment to run her hand down his chiseled chest. She had always felt his chest when they cuddled. She knew, in those moments between them, that they were both in it for the long run. They had each other, and that was all that mattered.

"All mine," she whispered as she smiled slightly at him with adoring eyes. "I love you."

"I love you too, baby," he returned that same head-over-heels look in his eyes before locking lips with CJ one more time. "You're so beautiful, love."

"Josh, stop!" She whined, her face glowing with a furious blush from flattery.

"Shhh shh shh..." he said softly, thumb gently grazing over her rosy lips. His lips found their way onto the side of CJ's neck. He carefully sucked dark hickies onto her blank canvas of a neck.

CJ let out soft moans that were nothing but music to Josh's ears. Truthfully, it was even better than what was spinning on the vinyl.

Josh got a little too carried away and accidentally bit down on her neck. Not too hard, but enough to make a sound of discomfort slip from CJ's lips.

He swiftly pulled away from her and furrowed his eyebrows, his expression clearly illustrating his concern.

"Oh baby, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." His voice had a slight panicky tone. "Did I hurt you? Are you okay?"

"Mhm," CJ nodded quickly. "Just- just keep going."

"Are you sure?" Josh ran the pad of his thumb over the sensitive spot.

"Yeah I'm fine, Josh," she reassured Josh, annoyance lingering in her voice. "Don't worry about it."

"Alright.." he was hesitant, but resumed sprinkling hickies all over her neck and collarbone. Where ever was accessible to him, he made sure to cover her pale skin with dark purple marks of his love. Before long, he swiftly picked her up and laid her down against the bed.

She let out a little yelp of surprise before giggling softly. Josh smiled right back at her, his eyes doing that happy wrinkle thing that CJ always adored and his tongue peeking out from behind his teeth.

"You're doing it again." her smile blossomed even more on her face.

"Doing what?" He asked, tilting his head with curiosity.

"That.. thing. The smile thing. It's one of the most beautiful things about you, Joshie."

"Stop it, stop.." he said playfully.

They both shared a moment to laugh with one another before Josh leaned down to kiss her once again, the last of her giggles being hummed against his lips.

He started to trail down his kisses from her lips down to her neck. Her chest down to her stomach. Then finally right before her waist. His eyes looked up at her for permission only to get the view of CJ biting down on her lip and nodding with a slight glare of need in her eyes.

His half-smirk-half-smile emerged onto his lips as he started to fumbled with the button on her jeans.

CJ's heart thumped ten miles an hour in her chest. Feeling Josh and watching the way he moved on her was enough of a treat already, but to be doing it with Josh was a whole other type of overwhelming. Really actually wanting to do it with someone. Actually giving Josh a nod of permission was important to her.

Her virginity was stolen, along with any ounce of trust that she could place into someone, and Josh being so respectful towards her made her love for him grow even more, if that was possible. It was her actual consenting first time, and she would not have wanted to share that with anybody but him.
