Deewangi 2 -Rajveer-Naina

Prologue

It has been five years since she graduated from KMA and today, here she stands in front of the "Amar Jawan Jyoti", saluting it, her eyes closed and the moments that she spent with him flashes in front of her eyes.

She is a proud Captain today who have won many medals for her bravery in the past five years. For everyone around her, she is the best solider in India. But for her, she considers HIM the best solider, the most intensive lover, a true gentleman and the best mentor who have guided her to the right path even after he isn't around her. He doesn't need to be in front of her in order to motivate her. He is in her heart.

Yes, she is in love with him and as the days passes by, her love becomes stronger.

"Captain Naina Singh Ahluwalia, aapko Brigadier Chandook ne bulaya hai",

informs an orderly

Naina's eyes opens wide as she hears the orderly. Wiping away her tears, she turns towards the orderly and smiles.

"Thank you!"

Replying, she makes her way towards Brigadier Chandook's cabin.

"May I come in sir?"

Questions Naina as she knocks the door of Brigadier Chandook's cabin.

Brigadier Chandook, who was busy with some files, looks up and gives a huge grin to Naina.

"Please come in Captain Naina Singh Ahluwalia"

Says Brigadier Chandook while he puts the files away.

Walking towards BC's desk, she stands at an at-ease position.

"Captain Naina Singh Ahluwalia reporting, sir!"

Salutes Naina

Smiling, BC indicates her to make herself comfortable on the chair in front of her. She follows his orders.

"It's good to see you back Cadet...I mean Captain Singh"

says BC, feeling proud at the fact that Naina graduated from KMA and is now a proud and a responsible officer.

"Thank you sir! Mujhe bhi bohut acha lag raha hai yahan wapis aa kar"

Replies Naina with a fake smile, her voice reflects her pain which Brigadier Chandook understands very well. Somewhere, BC knew the special bond Rajveer and Naina shared and he can understand how difficult it must be for her to return to the place and not see her Rajveer sir around.

Silence takes place between the two as they both think of the same person - Captain Rajveer Singh Skekhawat.

Finally breaking the silence Naina asks,

"Sir, mujhe yahan wapis...."

Stammers Naina as she fails to put her words into a proper sentence.

But Brigadier Chandook understands very well what she is talking about.

"Maine tumhe ek mission ke liye bulaya hai Captain Singh"

Replies Brigadier Chandook

"Mission Ladakh"

As he utters these words, it succeeds in skipping Naina's heartbeat. She feels as if there is a reason why BC chose her for the mission.

Brigadier Chandook hands her a file and asks her to read it. As she reads the file, she feels strange as her supervisor's name isn't mentioned in there.

"Sir. Is mission ka supervisor kaun hoga?"

questions Naina

This fades away the colours from Brigadier's face.

"Wo tumhe wahan ja kar pata chal jayega"

informs Brigadier Chandook.

Naina smells something fishy but chooses to ignore it. Thanking him, Naina heads towards the door to exit when Brigadier Chandook's voice arrests her.

"Oh By the way Captain, Congratulations on your engagement"

A shiver goes down her spine upon hearing Brigadier Chandook's words. A tear rolls down from her eyes and lands on the engagement ring that she is wearing on the ring finger of her left hand.
