   Ngunit kapag naghihirap siya ay inaaalala niya si Louie. Siya nga na kasama lang ni Louie ay nahihirapan na, ano pa kaya si Louie na nadadanasan niya ang lahat ng pangyayaring iyon.

   Inside the room, the doctor's were once again in a turmoil. Nakatuwid na naman ang pulang linya sa monitor habang nirerevive siya ng mga doktor.

"Pump more oxygen into her body."

"Doc, the assessment showed that there's a certain vein from her heart connecting to her lungs that was affected severely. It is the main reason on why the oxygen in her body is fast depleting."

"Are you suggesting for an operation?"

"Yes, doc. The damage can't be left off any longer or it will affect the other systems in her body."

"But the other internal organs also were bruised and  bleeding. I'm afraid to say that there's only a 50:50 chance for her to survive this operation."

   Agad na pinuntahan ng doktor ang nagdala kay Louie sa ospital.

"What's your relationship with the patient?"

"I'm her husband."

"Mr, I won't beat behind the bush. She needs to be operated because of a certain vein from her heart that was connected to her lungs that was damaged. But I'll tell you, the chance of her surviving the operation is low and it is too risky. We can't guarantee you that she'll live after this."

   Nagkatinginan si Cassandra at Iverson.

   Mukhang hindi talaga titigilan ni Kamatayan si Louie.

   In the end, sumang-ayon pa rin sina Iverson para sa operasyon. Iverson's faith was very thin but he's still holding unto it.

   Ilang sandali pa ay dumating na rin ang mga kasamahan niya. Dumantay ang mata nila sa nakailaw na signage ng "Operation On-Going".

"O-operasyon na naman? What the-"

"Hindi mo ba nakita ang dalang baril noong lalaki kanina na nasa likuran ni Louie? I mean yes, It was just a revolver. The sniper is much more painful. Pero imagine yourself being shot like that for three times. And to think of, Louie hasn't recovered fully from the torture of Samson."

   Halos lahat ng mukha ng nga kasamhan ni Iverson ay namumutla na sa kakulangan sa tulog at kain. Kumain nga lang sila ng kaunti habang hinihintay na matapos ang operasyon ni Louie saka sila nagdasal.

"Nemesis, you need to survive. Tapos na ang lahat pagkagising mo," piping sabi ni Iverson habang ang mga mata ay hindi kailanman bumibitiw sa metal na pintuan.

   Makalipas ang halos apat na oras ay bumukas ang pinto.

"How was it, Doc?"

"The operation was sucessful. But...the patient has fallen into a state of comatose. The depletion of oxygen in her braim was too fast and we weren't able to catch up with it. Her lungs were consuming mostly of the air, that's why. If ever we haven't reacted immediately, the patient may have been a brain dead now and may have already fallen into a vegetative state," the doctor explained.

   At tunay ngang na comatose si Louie.

    After two weeks na hindi pa gumigising si Louie ay napagdesisyunan nila Spade na ilibing nalang si Ace na wala si Louie. Hindi na nila mahihintay pa ito.

   At ang balita naman sa mga Montero, Nyx and Louige wasn't executed. Their sentence was lighten up, due to the old man's plea. Pero kahit na ganoon ay may haharapin pa ring parusa ang dalawa.

   And it means na cut off lahat ng resources at supply ng mga Montero sa kanilang dalawa. From now onwards, they have to rely on themselves. At hindi na rin sila makakalapit pa sa mga Montero. They should be keeping a distance of 500 kilometers away from the Monteros so that they'll avoid hurting them.

   Actually, the whole Montero clan except from Cassandra Montero was placed into a one-year probation. Grounded sila at hindi makakalabas sa kanilang lugar. Dahil iyon sa misleading na information na ipinasa nila sa Tatlong Apoy. They said that it was dangerous dahil malapit nilang mapatay ang isang tao na wala naman palang sala.

    Makalipas ang isang buwan ay umuwi na ng Pilipinas sina Amelynx. Pero nanatili si Iverson sa Japan. Si Spade naman ay pabalik-balik lang sa ospital at sa basement nila.

   After two months, everybody learnt to cope up with the traumatic experience they've encountered at matiwasay silang nakapagpatuloy sa pag-aaral. Everything was starting to be alright.

   Bagama't malungkot sila dahil hindi nila nakakasabay si Iverson ay suportado naman nila ito sa pagbabantay sa comatose pa rin na si Louie.

    Sa mga nakalipas na linggo ay unti-unti na ring nawawala ang mga peklat sa katawan ni Louie. Her health improved so much pero hindi pa rin siya nagigising. Walang paltas si Iverson sa pagbabantay sa kaniyang asawa.

   And just months after the banishment... Nyx committed suicide. The news resonated around the Underworld. The scandal that happened within the Montero clan spread like a wildfire. The Monteros once again fell into a gloomy state. From the death of Samson that's being kept as a secret to Ace Stavros who was murdered and down to Nyx Villaruel who killed herself.

   She shot her head with a gun.

   And finally, after three months, nagising si Louie. Sa eksaktong sumapit ang araw sa ikatatlong buwan ni Louie sa pagka coma ay nagising siya. Naluha pa nga si Iverson nang makita niyang bumuka ang mga mata nito.

    Agad na tinawag ni Iverson ang mga doktor. The doctors checked Louie's condition and it was fine.

   After sometime, sila nalang dalawa ang nasa loob. Iverson was thinking on what to say pero naunahan siya ni Louie. Ang tanong nitong sinaktan si Iverson nang sobra.

"Nasaan si Spade?"
