Long ago there were seven beings blessed with incredible abilities. They created the world you know today as Earth. The seven were Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Life, Death, and, Balance. They created the human race. Of course they had to go and fall in love with a few of the humans.
Centuries have passed since the original Elementalists died. Their powers however lived on. They have been passed on through their bloodline. The powers only manifest to keep each other in check. The powers manifest in people who are deemed worthy of them. Death would manifest in someone corruptible. Balance in a mediator. Life in the kind-hearted. Death recently appeared to a young boy to jumpstart his powers.
"You're such a loser," the girl with blonde hair said. I was fuming inside.
"Takes one to know doesn't it," I shot back.
"He's such a loser he can't come up with anything original," the tall boy with brown hair said.
"At least I didn't come up with the idea of you," I snapped. That earned several oohs from his friends.
"What did you just say?" the tall boy said.
"You heard me," I continued, "It must be hard to walk with a head that big, but i guess it makes sense because it's got to fit your ego," He aimed a punch at me. I dodged.
"I'm going to make you eat those words," he said darkly.
"What ever," I said walking away.
"Yeah leave this conversation like how your friends and dad left you. Alone," the boy called. I ran home nearly in tears. He was right my friends always left at one point. They had all walked out on me, just like my dad.
The next day I was walking to school and a figure approached me.
"I can help with your bully problem," the man said. He was wearing a hoodie so I couldn't really see his face.
"No thanks," I was always told not to talk to strangers.
"Just let me know if you want my help," he said and started walking away.
I was almost to the school when the something hit me in the head. I whirled around.
"I told you I was going to make you regret those words," the boy said holding a rock
"Leave me alone," I said and kept walking.
"I'm not done with you," he said as he started running and caught me by the shirt.
"Let go of me," I shouted.
"Not until I've done this," he said raising a fist.
"I'll do it," I screamed hoping the man would hear me. The air dropped in temperature and shadows lengthened and curled to the boy. They wrapped around his arms and legs.
"What are you doing?" he asked fearfully. I just shrugged. The shadows covered the rest of his body and then everything went back to normal. In the boy's place was a note.
"Enjoy your powers,You've always had them you just needed a nudge" it said in neat handwriting. I reached out with my hand and the shadows swirled around me.
"Oh yeah," I said, "This will be fun."
So that's the prologue. Let me know what you think and vote if you want.
