Lexi's P.O.V
" Lexi wake up!!" My mom kept yelling at me!
"I'm up mom!" I yelled back
I forgot that today is the day I need to look at universities. Ugh.
My mom decided it would be a great idea to send me to North Carolina because they have good universities. But I don't want to go to university I want to become a professional BMXer. So what I didn't tell my mom is I signed myself up to be racing worlds in my age group. If I told her she would be mad. I've been racing since I was 6 years old. I'm so passionate about it.
My mom doesn't understand.
So right now I'm finishing packing up to go to North Carolina. I've already sent my bike and gear over there cause the track officials agreed to keep it till I get there. In case you were wondering I ride a chase bike. It is a type of BMX bike.
"Lexi time to go" my mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Coming" I yell back.
"I will miss you so much mom" I say giving her a huge hug.
"Love you Lexi" she replies.
I board onto the plane and take my seat by the window.
A boy who has short blonde hair and is really cute comes and sits beside me and a boy with short brown hair sits beside him.
We'll they are cute I think to myself.
"Ha thanks" the blonde one says.
"Oh my god I can't believe I said that out loud" my face goes as red as a tomato.
"It's okay, I think your cute too" the boy with brown hair winks at me.
I can feel myself blush.
"I'm Lexi" I tell them.
" I'm Jack Johnson, and this is Jack gilinsky" the blonde one Jack Johnson says.
"Nice to meet you" I say with a smile.
"Where are you from?" Jack Gilinsky asks me.
"I'm from Canada" I reply.
And then I put my headphones in and fall into a deep sleep.
