"You disobey Allah and at the same time put love to Him. This is an impossibility. If you truly love Him, you must obey all of His commands. Indeed, people who put love will certainly be willing to obey the orders of those they love, "(Imam Ash-Syafii).
"Engkau durhaka kepada Allah dan sekaligus menaruh cinta kepada-Nya. Ini adalah suatu kemustahilan. Apabila benar engkau mencintai-Nya, pastilah engkau taati semua perintah-Nya. Sesungguhnya orang menaruh cinta tentulah bersedia menaati perintah orang yang dicintainya,” (Imam Asy-Syafii).
