Chapter 6: halloween

Today was October 31st the day of the Halloween Ball even though Cordelia wasn't really a party girl she was nervous for tonight since she never usually participated in these kind of events now she had a date she has to look perfect something she never cared about she never cared about her looks something her mother argued with a lot about she was currently stuffing her mouth with toast as fast as she could to get to her classes and make time to get ready she was deep in thought when Malfoy gently nudged her she snapped her head towards him giving him a full tooth smile he laughed at her she looked like a psychopath

"Slow down your going to choke" Malfoy said

"That would be a good thing I would end up at the infirmary and wouldn't have to turn in my ancient runes essay" she said letting her face rest on the table

"Cordelia we better go now if we want to get ready later" Walburga said standing up

"Right" Cordelia said standing up aswell  not before giving Malfoy a long kiss which Walburga and Edith made disgusted faces pretending to throw up

"There is children present get a room you disgusting creatures" Edith said

"Cheer Up Edith, Avery won't you give poor rosier a smooch?" Malfoy laughed

"Malfoy I will cut-"

"Okay let's go before professor babbling murders us!" Cordelia said walking with her friends to their class

Cordelia's POV

We was done with our classes now it was time for lunch and after we'd get ready we headed to the great hall not before I bumped into someone who dropped their books

"Oh Merlin I am sor-"

"It's alright Cordelia"
Theodore bent down to get his books first giving me a charming smile
I bent down to help him with his books

"Hey are you going to the ball?" He asked standing up

"Yes I am" I gave him a smile readjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder

"Do you got a... date?" He asked shifting all his weight on one foot he was nervous and he looked cute I chuckled at him

"Yes I am going with Malfoy" I said

"Oh.... well have fun" he said he looked disappointed and embarrassed

"Do you have a date?" I asked him

"No" He laughed

"Well.... I have a friend and she Dosnt have a date either" I gave him a wink

"Oh really what's her name?" He asked

"Walburga Black im sure you've heard of her?" I said

"Yes I have She's quite a moody one" he smiled

"Yes she definitely is but she's really smart" I said

"Yeah I know I guess I will ask her"

"Good luck I will see you tonight Theo" after all my classes I entered the great hall my eyes searching the Slytherin table which was missing a Malfoy where was he I thought. I took a seat smiling at a angry looking tom riddle he just gave me a sneer and went back to reading a book

"What's got your wand in a twist?" I asked his head shot up giving me a "Are you serious" look I chucked at him

"Where's your boyfriend?" He asked raising his brow
I shrugged

"I don't know" I said honestly
He had a smirk on his face he was a psychopath how could someone's mood change from a mad one to a condescending one i shook my head at him and took a bite of my salad
