Today you're going to visit your Best friend Dylan Wang for his birthday

You've been best friend since you started high school together. You both study in the same University.

*Your POV*

My phone vibrates as I wake up in my bed. I check my phone and see a call coming from him,

"Where are you?" He says kind of angry with a hint of a worried tone,

"I'm on my way don't worry" I lied as I start panicking, I stand up getting ready. "Well, hurry up I'm outside your house." I stopped what I was doing and bit my lip, he's outside already and I'm not ready.

He has to wait for a long time.

"Okay, okay, I lied. I just woke up."

There was silence in the other side of the phone, "H-hello?" I stuttered, he sighs loudly over the phone and says, "You made me come all the way here, and you're not ready?!" He raised his voice, you rolled your eyes at what he said, "I never told you to come, you made that choice."

"Well--"

"I win."

I ended the call and started getting ready.

I walked outside seeing him sitting down fiddling with his hands. "Let's go." I said while raising my hands in the air. "How long does it take for a girl to get ready?" He asks rhetorically, he stands up.

"Fine.. I'm not going anymore if you keep on arguing" I turn around slowly." Hey, I was just joking, don't take it seriously" He grabs my hands.

"Exactly." I say with confidence.

We walk together to the bus stop. "So where exactly are we going?" He questioned me. "It's a surprise" I walked away. He doesn't know that I'm taking him to an amusement park.

We arrived there one hour later. I put my hands over his eyes, I couldn't reach because of how short I am compared to him. "3..2..1" I took my hands off. "Whoaaa.." He talked to himself.

I grab his hands and run going towards the entrance. "Can I get two tickets please?" I say happily. The woman gives me the tickets and dragged him inside the amusement park, my eyes caught the first ride.

As time went by it was already passed 6 pm. We were both sat down eating ice cream. I looked up at him, "Thanks, for this day" he smiled. I smiled. "No problem" I looked down. There was silence. I've never seen him smile so much before, I actually thought he never smiles.

*End of POV*

...

She took me to my favourite amusement park, does she know it's my favourite amusement park? Oh well, who cares.

I look at her beside me, she stares at the sunset while licking her ice cream. She turns her head towards mine and I quickly look away from her so she doesn't notice I was staring. "Is there something on my face?"

Yes, beauty..

"No, nothing. You just have ice cream on your cheek." I wipe her cheeks using my thumbs even though there was nothing. I smile nervously, what am I doing?

She was stunned from what I did. I smirked and sat back looking towards the sunset. "It's so beautiful." She mutters, I look at my ice cream smiling.

Yeah, you're beautiful.

We both finish our ice cream, she was about to stand up when I grabbed her arm stopping her. "I need to tell you something." She sits back down not breaking eye contact, "Well, I'm not really good at these things, but I'm using all my courage to just say this to you."

She nods listening.

Is this what I think it is?.. she thoughts.

"I.. i--"

RINGGGRINGGGGG

"S-sorry.." she stutters, "No, no it's okay.." I sighed in defeat, maybe next time..

...

I picked up the phone. It was an unknown caller. "Hello?" I whisper. "..." No response. I ended the call. I turned around looking at Dylan. "Sorry.. it was an unknown caller." I walked towards him.

"What were you going to tell me?" I asked. "Nothing" he lied. "Oh.. let's go on the ferris wheel before the amusement park closes" I changed the subject. "..okay.." he sounded worried.

We both went in the ferris wheel. I layed my head on his shoulder, I was tired. I closed my eyes to rest but making sure that I don't fall asleep.

"I like you.." he whispered.
