" May lulutuan ako eh. Ikaw ba, kamusta na kayo ng asawa mo. Ikaw Sandok ah, hindi mo naman sinabi sa akin na kasal ka na pala. Nagpadala ako ng sulat sa 'yo maraming beses na ngunit isa ang nakabalik sa akin." Wika niya. I've suddenly remembered what Xander told me before. He was the one who received all his letters. " Anong sinabi nung sulat na nakarating sa 'yo?" I asked him. Tila naman naguguluhan siyang napatingin sa akin.

" That brute" I whispered to myself. Napalakas ata yung pagkasabi ko nun at napatawa si Riel.

" I know it's not you who lettered me, Sandok. But I am happy for you. I was hoping we would click up but I guess I'm too late. Naunahan na pala ako. Kung sana inagahan kong nagparamdam." Hindi ko alam kung magugulat ako o hindi sa kanyang sinabi.

" Don't be shocked Sandok. Total nagkita natin naman tayo, you want to go out with me? Coffee? Tea?" He asked. Napangiwi ako. I can't drink coffee now.

" I'm sorry, Riel. I need to go home early. My husband will be home in an hour" Knowing Xander, he will surely go ballistic again when he goes home without me.

And what I really hated the most was the fact that he is so possessive and always adamant.

Riel just gave me a smile.

" Nagogrocery ka na pala ngayon. Mukhang may nagbago ah" Pabiro kong wika sa kanya. Isang malawak na ngiti ang isinagot niya sa akin.

" I'm going to surprise a woman. Magluluto ako para sa kanya" Napangiti tuloy ako.

" Ikaw magluluto! Hanep din. Ni hindi ko alam kung bakit nagkita tayo dito sa Italya tapos ngayon gugulatin mo ako na magluluto ka." Pabiro kong wika sa kanya

" She's a chef. Magaling siyang magluto. Sabi niya kase sa akin, sasagutin niya lang daw ako kapag natalo ko siya sa larangan ng pagluluto" Daig ko pa ang nagulat sa sinabi niya.

" Seriously? Kung ganyan na pala ang basehan ngayon ng pagsagot sa manliligaw edi sana sinabihan ko na din si Xander na papakasalan ko lang siya kapag natalo niya ako sa pagdedesign ng damit" Wika ko kay Riel na ikinatawa na din niya.

" Hindi ko talaga kayo maintindihang mga babae. You really somehow amaze us" Wika na lamang ni Riel.

Naputol na lamang ang pag-uusap namin ng biglaang tumunog yung phone ko. It was Xander calling. Agad ko namang ipinagpaalam kay Riel na sasagutin ko muna yung tawag ni Xander saglit.

" My wife is not home. Where are you now" Untag niya agad sa akin.

" Obviously, your wife is not home because I am not home. I am in the grocery store pauwi na ako. " I told him.

" Saang grocery store ka. Susunduin na kita" He said. His voice was void of any emotion.

" Dala ko kotse ko. No need to fetch me. I can manage" I tolf him.

" Ang sabi ko susunduin kita. So better if you tell me what grocery store are you at and I will fly there" Nainis tuloy ako sa sinabi niya.

" Ang kulit" Sinabi na ngang may dala akong kotse.

" You didn't even tell me you have plans on doing the grocery. I could have cancelled all my appointments for the day" He muttered.

" Kaya ko nga diba. Kaya ko ding umuwi mag-isa" I muttered.

" Mabigat yung dala mo. Mapapagod ka niyan" Wika niya.

" Tell me wher the heck you are wife because you won't like it when I would find it out myself" He muttered in the other line.

" Okay fine. Andito ako sa Salumeria Volpetti." I finally said, giving up.

" Wait for me there. Huwag kang magbuhat ng mabibigat at hintayin mo ako" Wika niya. May sasabihin pa sana siya ngunit pinatayan ko na siya ng phone.

" You really look beautiful when you get mad, Sandok" Riel muttered

" And you really love that man, don't you? Because your eyes speak of it. Damn, he's a lucky man." Riel muttered once more.

" Napadpad ka ata sa Italya ngayon." Pambungad kong tanong sa kanya.

" I took a vacation from work and decided to follow you her in Italy. But seeing you happily married and in love made me realize that I lost you forever." His eyes looked at me with passion.

" It's okay. It's not your fault." He muttered again.

I was about to say something more when we suddenly heard a car parked in front of us. It was Xander's car. I know it was his.

Mabilis siyang bumaba galing sa kanyang sasakyan at madilim kaming tinignan ni Riel.

His eyes were a shade of grey. He's on it again. I thought to myself.
