Umm...random poem post of a piece I produced pre-October, as in September. Got on an alliterative roll... Anyway, it's called Carousel.. I thought it was a bit strange at first, but I showed it to a friend and she said it wasn't weird. I'll stop so you can actually read it:

Carousel

A little girl sits on a carousel
Round and round she goes
Around the round, stars spin a spell
Away she flies from her woes

Tis not joy that doth here dwell
Round and round she goes
Twinkling tears gleam to tell
The stars surround in mourning throes

We wait and wait for it to quell
Round and round she goes
But all we see is her pain swell
Pray, o pray for this wounded prose

Nought but this doth our story compel
Round and round the crows
What twist of fate befell
She an angel pure like winter rose

Across the heavens floats a carousel
Round and round she goes
Cry no more, child; now hark the knell
Solemnly it rings, for you it tolls

Grim thy heartache, though it be
Alone thou shall not sit this night
Face across, thy stallion greet, dost thou see?
There, another, they wait to clear thy blight

Summon thy faith, for thy quest is she
Upon the carousel, find her plight
Seek her tears and wipe them into the sea
Hold her hand and gift her flight
