I was walking out the school gates when a hand tapped my shoulders making me turn around
"Hey (Y/n)" said Mingrui
"Hi Mingrui" I responded
"I was won-" he got interrupted by a phone "I'll.. um never mind... I'll see you at school!" he continued frowning
"Yeah sure I guess bye" I waved and left
Next Day
It was fourth block of the day and I have math I sat with my other friends since non of the Yessu members have a class with me today.
"Hey guys what's up?" I asked
"Hey (Y/n) we're just discussing since Mrs. Kim isnt here yet" said loonie
"What are you guys discussing?"
"Can a new baby have a baby after getting birth?"
"What kind of question is that?!" they shrugged and I continued "That's true but I'm pretty sure that it's impossible"
We continued to talk but I kept on seeing Mingrui staring at me I just thought I had something on my face
"Hey you guys is there anything around my face?" I asked them
"No?" the both answered
"Yeah beauty.." Mingrui whispered enough for me to hear since he was just a seat away from me
I looked at him and said "Did you say something?"
"Hmm? no no" He answered
Math ended and lunch began Chaewon wasn't at school but I sat with Sohye and Chaemin we were all talking then the bell rang for break we were walking around talking once again then Mingrui came up and asked if we were free later to hangout.
"Kind of we're free but we have to practice for a dance competition the school is counting on us." I said
"When are you guys practicing?" he asked
"After school" we said in sync
"Cool so maybe we'll watch you guys practice and hang out to grab food"
"Sounds great" I smiled which he also returned
After school
I called my aunt on the way to the dance studio we had at school telling her I had to practise and asked if I could hang out she said I could but come back home before dark I also called Chaewon unnie since she wasnt at school today she said she'll come but she can't hang out
I got to the dance studio where I heard music and noises I saw Mrs. Han so I greeted her
"Good afternoon Mrs. Han" I bowed
"Good afternoon lower down your voices okay and the music, there is a meeting happening and good luck with your practice" She said
"Fighting!" I said as she left
I opened the door and saw BoyStory and Chaemin and Sohye
"Guys lower down the volume" I said
"Ne" said Sohye said lowering down the volume
"Unnie where's Chaewon Unnie?" asked Chaemin
"She's coming soon" I said "Let's warm up with exo?"
"Omggg yeah" the girls screamed
We only got to dance to Love Shot and The Eve since Chaewon came in saying sorry for being late.
We practiced till we were wasted after taking a long break we went out to the cafe where we hanged out on their first day and every thing, ever since its been our own meeting cafe since barely no one comes in
We ordered and talked but with Chaewon on a call since she was busy for today. I was looking around but my eyes decided to land on Mingrui. Suddenly my heart was beating. I haven't had this feeling since I hated it after getting heartbroken ever since that day I gave up on every boy but why Mingrui? (it wasnt zeyu it was another boy that i will be talking about in the next chapter)
I started memorizing his facial features and wow. He turned around and caught me staring I was frozen and kept the eye contact feeling my cheeks turn red. I looked away feeling something from my thigh to my leg I knew it was Sohye I just slapped her hand and she whined
"OMG hahaha sorry thats your fault you scared me" I said calming her down.
