When the Light in her eyes has faded
And the glow of her face has dimmed
You truly know she is lost.
When you look into her soul
You find emptiness
And when you look at her whole heartedly, she's unrecognizable.
When you hold her hands, they are cold
And when you stare at her palms they are pale
Her entire being is ghostly white, an empty vessel.
But
If you look into her heart, you'll see a fire
Begging to be unleashed, because she has so much to share
If you look at her, truly look at her
You'll see that she has been drained of all life
But... if you guide her carefully through the darkness
Teach her how to live, love and shine...
Her light will brighten the entire world.
Every girl is meant to be loved
And she, more than most, is more than worthy of it.
