"No, I will starve but I will not marry him" I said quite stubbornly. I am already living a mentally and physically abused life and the last thing I need right now is to add sexual abuse to the list.

"Last time Ayah, you will shut up, get dressed and come down all dressed up. If you so much as think of disobeying me, wallahi I will kill you" my uncle said while my aunty stood there looking  at me in disgust.

"I prefer death. No, I will not parade my self for Adam. I will not marry him. You can kill me" and I meant it.

I haven't met Adam in 20 years. Not since my parents and his father died in an accident. Our father's were business partners of now multi million dollar company Damc which is a leading construction company.

"I will kill you then" and my uncle came to me, and I went stiff in fear. He is capable of doing anything. I know his cruelty as I have faced it far too many times. But I held my ground.

"She is just like her mother. Such a slut she was. She not only manage to kill my brother but also inflict this bitch on us" my aunty Sameena said.

"Leave my mother out of this" knowing the slap was coming, I still said it. I have fond memories of my parents though I was 8 years when they died. I could taste blood from my lips from my uncle Faiz's slap. Yet I didn't move.

"Get her ready for the nikkah on time Sameena or I will come and finish what I have started" he gave me murdering look before leaving.

I didn't move. I dare move. I remember Adam and my memories of him even 8 years ago were not so fond ones. He use to bully me and abuse me every turn. He simply hated me and my parents.

His father uncle Ben whom I remember well was a kind man. He and my father were childhood friends who went on to become business partners. It was a small venture back then. It was during this time they got married to their respective spouses. Adam is 5 years senior to me.

"Girls, help me dress this bitch" my aunty called her daughter's Faiza and Dana.

"Please aunty Sameena. I will work for you even more harder. You can keep whatever money dad has left me. Just let me be here" I begged her. I could still taste the blood in my mouth.

My father is a Pakistani and mother is Persian. But they were in USA when I was born. For the first 8 years of my life I lived their until the accident. Then I was forced to move in with my father's brother and his wife and their two daughters.

My aunty grabbed me by a fist full of hair and tried in vain to get free.

"Listen you bitch, if you don't shut up and get down to give your consent to this marriage, I promise you we can kill you on that basis. What your dad had his money are yours as you well know it as that bastard of a man left everything to you. And the only way you or anyone else can get hold of that money is when you marry Adam" she repeated what I know for the hundredth time.

My father and uncle Ben had 60% of the shares in their name and 40% as public stocks when they died. Even at that time the company was profitable and was expanding. How ever it was about 10 years ago, when Adam took over the company, it went from a local name to a globally recognised company. I knew this from the little conversation my foster family makes and what little reading I do during my spare time.

However there is a small concern when the ownership and funds are concern. I will only get my 30% of the shares and the accumulated profit upon marriage. And the marriage is for not someone but it is to non other than Adam. That was my dad's condition. However since Adam's mother Theresa was alive when his dad died, the inheritance went to her. But for Adam to get the shares that are his mothers, he needs to marry me.
