A Car Crash {•sm•}

hi :)

As soon as the school bell rang I started for the door. I was about to turn the doorknob, then I heard my math teacher Ms. Bailey call my name.

"Ms. Smith, may I see you?" She called

Oh, lemme introduce myself, I'm Rachel Smith. I'm a 17-year-old senior at Pine Ridge Secondary School.

I've had a rough life since my parents constantly abuse me and my 19-year-old sister, Lea. Lea has been my only friend since I was 12. That's when my parents starting hurting us, and I started blocking most people out of my life.

Okay, back to my life.

I walked to my teacher's desk as everyone started leaving school for the day.

"Hmm?" I said distracted

She showed me my math test, "Congratulations, you got an A." She said with a smile.

"Great" I said sarcastically as I took the test. I walked out the door hearing my teacher call me again, but I didn't care.

I walked to the front of the school, trying to look for my sister's car since she was picking me up.

I couldn't see much past the crowd of kids hovering over the most popular guy at school.

Shawn Mendes, I thought to myself. I never really liked him, he just seemed full of himself.

I finally found my sister's car and walked towards it.

"Hey Lea" I said as I climbed in.

"Hey Rach, how was school?" She asked

"Eh, same old, same old" I answered.

"Did you talk to Shawn?" She asked, and I had no idea why.

I gave her the most confused look ever, "No, why would I? He's the important kid, I'm just the quiet, smart one"

"You should talk to him though, he's been your classmate since preschool."

"Even if I do talk to him, I'll probably get shoved away by everyone crowding him."

"There's something I need to tell you though" she started saying then glass shattered everywhere, and everything went black.
