Here's a story,

of a girl who thought of her life as a blank piece of paper.

But she held a pen for once,

And wrote what had happened.

A blank piece of paper,

Soon morphed into endless pages...

Chapters which were devastating,

Suddenly seemed promising.

Chapters which were embarassing,

Appeared to be ineffably elating.

So she wrote,

Her last pen striving,
Until the last drop of ink.

Until her hair started falling,

And the chapters finally ending.

With a smile,

A crinkle of crow's feet next to her eyes,

She drops the pen, and pats the paper,

Closing her eyelids with a final breath,

She went away with the wind,
as peaceful as the long years her soul lived.

For her last sentence she writes,

'as sweet as honey, and as bitter as truth, here I lay ready to experience death, when I haven't finish experiencing life.'

With that, her wish wished before she began writing, finally comes true,

For her to sleep forever.
