??? Pov.

Why? This was the only question running through my mind as I felt the darkness growing.

It was all I could feel...

Dark, darker, yet darker...

The darkness keeps growing...

I can feel the corruption, the pain, the hatred...

The hatred for my beloved sister...

Why is she so glorified when there is another goddess that deserves the same treatment. They all think that she was the one to defeat Pitch Black during the harmonic convergence. But I know the truth.

She wasn't the one to banish Pitch for a thousand years.

She wasn't the one that delivered the final blow on him.

She wasn't the one to save the world from all the fear he caused.

But they will know...

I'll make sure they know...

I want her to suffer.

I want to hurt her.

I want to kill  her.

She doesn't deserve happyness...

She doesn't deserve the praise...

And she doesn't deserve the title to be Queen...

The Crown of the Universe will. Be. Mine.

No one will have a choise....

Miriam's pov.

We were all riding in North's sleigh. I still remember those times when we were summoned to find Pitch and bring him down. I just wish that this time it will be much easier to defeat him then last time. I couldn't afford to die anymore. I now had a family. My friends. My daughter...

"We will be arriving shortly." North said to all of us. I took a deep breath to calm myself. I looked below us and saw a dark and almost dead forest. It looked like the trees wilted like flowers.

After a few minutes we landed in a small clearing. The sun was shining through the grey wilted trees making a grey glow. Jack started to walk towards where he thought was Pitch's lair. The place where said man was banished.

Shivers ran up my spine just thinking about him. Anyway, we stopped in another small clearing and I noticed some wood planks on the ground.

"There used to be an old bed here. It was the entrance to the lair." Jack said.

I then stepped closer and saw strange black...ash? I took it in the palm of my hand and allowed it to run through my palm like sand.

"It isn't Pitch's Nightmare sand. I think it's ash." I voiced my thoughts to the others as I stepped up from my crouching position.

"Ash? As in the same stuff that is created when something burned?" Jack asked and I nodded.

"Then whoever help Pitch escape new very well how to use firepower." Bunnymund said.

"Or magic." I said. "It could be one of both - either it was some sort of firepower or a magic ritual."

"But the question is  who helped him." Toothiana said and Sandy nodded.

"I believe it was someone who is powerful in both normal magic and elemental magic. And I think I know who might be able to help us find out that person." I said.

"Who?" North asked tilting his head slightly. I then replied to his question.

"Either Zenaida or the original Protector of Azarath."

(To be continued)

I am so sorry that I haven't updated anything in a few days. I am busy with schoolwork and I have a writers block. Again I am very sorry, this chapter isn't the absolutely best one I've written, but I promise that it will get better in time.
