Jinho is easily the member Mari trusts the most. Being the eldest, she says she can count on him whenever she needs him. They like to sing covers together and she often appears on MAGAZINE HO. He is fiercely protective of her and incredibly clingy. She once prank called him on a radio show, claiming she had an emergency and needed a large sum of money and without question, he asked what her bank account number was. Even her mom jokes about adopting Jinho into the family.

Hui, like Jinho, is a protective older brother to Mari. He finds her accent so fascinating and is often seen staring in awe at her when she speaks French. He often seeks validation in her, asking her opinion of his vocals and even looking to see if she laughs after making a joke. She's the only member who doesn't clown him, and she'll constantly reassure him because she sees how hard it must be for their leader.

They're both incredibly smart and the group dreads when they're partnered together in any game, cause they're already sure to win before the game is even started.

These two should not be left alone in a room together. Mari is normally calm and collected, but Hyojong brings out her wild side. He loves her duality; how can she can seem almost goddess-like one second, and a total weirdo the next. Mari is never afraid to talk to him honestly and share her opinions. He always welcomes them, loving how outspoken she is. He values her friendship so much.

Shinwon finds deep pleasure in teasing Mari. Seeing as they're the same age, he can pick on her as much as he wants. She can send it right back, too. Universe speculated for a while if they were secretly dating or if they've dated in the past, but it was eventually just let go. They're flirty to the point of it being awkward for the other members. They're the only two born in '95, so they have a deep bond. Despite all the teasing played up for the cameras, they connect very much on an emotionally level and have plenty of deep moments.
