Yokai Academy's Newest Student

Chapter Five Choices

I don't know what to do a school for monsters that's crazy, I guess that's why it's called Yokai Academy. Maybe it was just a practical joke, but no one else looked worried. My alarm went off. Shit already time for school I barely got any sleep. Walking out into the hallway I was given the answer that I didn't want Yokai Academy really was a school for monsters. There were students all around who seemed to have changers into monsters over night. I wanted to get out of the dormitories as quick as possible so I got on my clothes and dashed out the door. That's when I ran into them. The twins: Shiro and Kuro Kishi Shiro: being the brother and Kuro being the sister. White and black knight interesting names I suppose especially concise ring there everyday outfits, Shiro wearing an all black version of the school uniform and Kuro wearing all white, I'm not even sure those outfits are aloud. But oh well, both the most mischievous monsters I've met.

I slammed into them both. "Hey watch we're you're going!" they said it in perfect unison, "Oh who's this Kuro I don't think I've seen him before."

"I don't know Shiro but he seems a little off doesn't he?"

"I know what you mean Kuro."

"I'm off?! what about you two?"

"Oh come off it we're completely normal, you on the other hand... smell"

"I do no-"

"No not like a bad smell just different kind of sweet don't you agree Shiro?"

"Don't I always?"

"Well when you guys are done analyzing how I smell tell me I have to get out of here." I ran past them.

"How rude could he be Kuro?"

"I don't know he was kind of interesting if you ask me."

"NIKO!"

"Wha-" that was the third time Kiri had slammed into me since I've been here.

"Oh no! Niko I'm so sorry I keep messing up!"

"You've got to be kiddi-" she looked beautiful as always she came down and hugged me.

"Im so sorry."

"Its ok, I'm getting used to you slamming into me."

"No not for that... It's just you smell so good."

"Wait whaAAAHHHH!"

"Oh come on Niko I'm sorry how many times do I ha-"

"No I'm not angry about that I just... I just don't think I belong at this school."

"Wha- why this is a school for monsters and I've enjoyed being with you why would you leave?!"

"You remember when I asked you how you felt about humans?"

"Yeah but what does that have to-"

"Just listen, do you remember what you told me"

"Yes I hate humans, but I don't see what this has to do wit-"

"BECASE I'M A HUMAN!"

"Come on Niko that's not funny anymore"

"I'm sure it's not because it isn't a joke"

"Bu-but you can't be I mean you're so nice how could you be no-" she fell to her knees and started crying.

"Kiri I'm sorry-" I ran and I ran pass the twins pass Ms.Nekonome and as I looked back straight into the headmaster.

"Oh sir I'm so sorry I didn't see yo-"

"It's fine but may I ask where you're heading in such a hury?"

"I was um... I was leaving sir"

"Stop with that sir stuff I saw you with Kiri you know so just call me Tsukune, wait did you say leaving?"

"Yes si- I mean Tsukune."

"Why is that may I ask?"

"Well I just don't feel like I belong here."

"Why because you're human?"

I was taken back how had he known this? Was he going to kill me?

"I didn't say anything about being huma-"

"Don't try and lie to me Niko. I know a few things about humans"

"I'm sure you do sir but I'm not sure what this has to do with me?"

"Again it's Tsukune, and I'll let you know how I can tell you're human. Your smell."

"Oh... Yeah, Kiri said I smelt different"

"Ah so she bit you did she?"

"Well um yeah she did."

"You know I'll tell you a little something about myself. When I first came to this school I was a human too."

"Wha- but I thought all humans were to di-"

"Die if they came here, yeah they told me the same thing. then I met some friends here at Yokai mostly girls; Mizore, Kurumu, Yukari, Ruby, Koko, Ginei, and of course my wife Moka. She's the reason I'm a vampire I did it to save her life believe it or not."

"To save a monsters life... Why?"

"Because I loved her, of course the other girls didn't really care for my chose they moved on and got lives."

"Loved a vampire but how?! Weren't you horrified?!"

"Of course but even as a human I would have given my life to save any of my friends. So are you still going to leave?"

"No si- I mean tsukune thank you for the story"

"Anytime and by the way I dropped that pamphlet for Yokai by your mother. Oh and tell the bus drive hello for me!"

I was already half way back to where I left Kiri.
