Chapter One The Bus

I couldn't help but let out a sigh as I gazed through the window of the bus, the driver must have noticed, wouldn't be to hard considering I was the only person on the bus besides him.
"What's your issue kid?"
I thought about how to answer it considering the multiple possible ways I could answer that, maybe because I don't get to go to the same high school with any of my friends, or the fact that I've never heard of Yokai Academy in my life, or better yet that the only reason I'm going here is because my mom being cheap as always found out about this free private school through a flyer some random guy dropped on the street at night.
But instead of saying that I just said "nothing why"
He laughed at me for that not sure why.
"You know kid you remind me of someone I took to this school a few years back and I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told him, this ain't no ordinary school"
"what do you mean by that?"
"You'll find out soon enough kid cause here we are"
We started to drive through a tunnel it got near pitch black in there it felt like forever but must have only taken a minute or two before I saw the light at the other side.
"Welcome to Yokai Academy kid"
I grabbed my bags and got off the bus.
"Good luck kid, you're gonna need it"
He drove of before I could ask him why.
