1. You are always at school, even when you don't want to be
2. Spending loads of money on clothes, books, and dorm items
3. People thinking you are a stuck up snobby rich white New Englander
4. Your public school friends never have the same break as you
5. Missing home
Of course there are a lot of perks that come with attending boarding school, but there are also a wealth of problems. The greatest is probably that you can never get away. At day schools and public schools, school and home are separate. But boarder life is difficult when you are always at school and you see your teachers and annoying classmates all the time, even when you want a getaway. Some people get homesick, I just tend to miss aspects of home, like being able to cook whenever and seeing my dog.
