"Dont do this." I took another step back from the gun pointed at me.
"Give me one reason why not to." He took another step closer.
"I trusted you. I helped you. I let you in the pack. I could of killed you but i let you live. Youve had plenty of times ive been vaunrable why now ?"
"Because it wasnt the right time. I was supposed to return you alive. But i can just tell them you turned rabid."
"Then shoot me. You want to take the easy way out. Shoot me in the heart and watch me die. Because at least ill have something youll never have."
"And whats that ?" he aimed the gun and smirked.
"Dignity." I closed my eyes and waited for the pain and darkness to come.
I waited for the shot of the gun.
I thought of the poem The Chariot by Emily Dickinson
'Because I could not stop for Death
He kindly stopped for me
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality'
And then i heard it. The pull of the trigger.
BANG!
