'10' everyone yells, at this point, i'm more than just tipsy.

i start to make my way over to sophia who's been drinking the same coke and gin all night.

'woah, you're drunk,' she laughs.

i grab her face and pull it to mine, kissing her just a second before the ball dropped and long after it had dropped.

i pull away and smile at her, her smiling back at me.

'you're cute, wanna be my girlfriend?' i giggle and she nods, standing on her tiptoes again and kissing me again, completely forgetting about all the others around us.

'i love you,' i say in my drunken, yet truthful state.

'ditto,' she giggles.

shortly after that, i fell asleep, because i'm a fucking lightweight.
