What was happening to us?
One of the men advanced towards me. He gripped my blouse and ripped it into shreds. I watched in horror as he rendered me naked. I couldn't make a sound or move a muscle.

He grabbed my breasts with so much ferocity that I screamed within me. This isn't happening to me again. Not again please.

Help! Help! Help!

My inner voice screamed.

"From now on, your body is no longer yours. It belongs to your master or your mistress. They can decide to do whatever they dim fit with it and you can never complain about that fact.
You will accept it all. I don't care if you don't accept it. Just know that anyone who tries escaping will be given a slow and painful death," Lioness informed us as the men each took turns in raping us.

For me it was like a knife pierced through my heart, destroying its tender flesh and driving right through it.

It was painful. The ordeal was so painful. I wailed in my head again and again as each men thrust into me again and again. I couldn't even cry to express my feelings. After the men were finished with us, they left us looking all bloody and shattered.

"The drug will wear off soon. Remember that your body is no longer yours," Lioness reminded us and walked out of the room.

An hour later and I was still on that exact spot. Trying to get the energy to stand up was difficult. In less than twenty four hours, I would be leaving this pit of hell and going to another hell hole. So sad.
My back hurt terribly. My laps felt like it was separated from my upper body. I felt so disgusted with myself.

As I crawled to the bathroom, tears of anguish ran down my cheeks. Why? Why? Why?
Why did she have to leave me. Why did she have to bring me into this world. She should have aborted me. Not coming to this world was better than this pain and suffering I was going through.

The water poured than on me  with full force. I really didn't care. I wish all my problems could just wash away or that they could drown. Sometimes I wake up thinking all these was a big dream. Each night when I go to bed, I always pray that I would wake up the next morning and everything was a dream but fate has a way of slapping reality on my face. It's like she mocks me, laughs at me whenever I hope.

Hope.
What is hope?

*************
I was so scared as I changed into the gown Madam Koko bought for me. It was a black gown with lace flower design on the edges of the gown.

"You girls should hurry up. Your buyers are already here. Hey you!" Johnson pointed at me, "Your buyer is here. Come with me."

My heart began to beat faster.
This was it. My life taking another turn again. I glanced at the other girls one last time. Their faces held nothing but lost hope and acceptance of fate. Just like mine. I had lost all hopes. I was ready. Ready to accept whatever fate was planning to serve me.

I watched Lioness and my buyer as they discussed. Every now and then, my buyer would glance at me. She was light skinned in complexion with an oval face and a nice figure. She was dressed in buba and wrapper. Her hair was braided. They finished talking and came to me.

"Hello," my buyer greeted me.

"Hi," came my raspy voice.

"You can call me Madam Cherry," she stated.

"Okay."

"Okay what?" she demanded.

"Okay, Madam," I corrected myself.

"Good. You really don't want to be on my bad side. So I suggest you behave yourself and do anything I tell you to do. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Madam," I answered and looked at her.

A dirty slap hit me on my face.

"Don't you dare look me in the eyes again, girl! I am not your mate. Rule number two: never look me in the eyes. What was rule number one?" she asked.

I had to think fast or I might be eating slaps for dinner.

"Always call you madam."

"Good! You're very intelligent," she smiled at me and faced Lioness, "We will leave now."

"Okay, it was nice doing business with you. Come again soon," Lioness waved at us as we left.

"I will."

"Get in!" Madam ordered.

I quickly entered the taxi. She entered after me and locked the door.

"Back to the bus park."

"Yes, madam," the driver replied and drove off.

We got to the bus park in less than an hour. Madam paid the driver his fare. She grabbed my hand and started walking fast.

"Walk fast. I don't want to miss the bus."

Just as I was about to answer her, an elderly woman bumped into me.

"Ah ah, look wer you dey go na(Watch where you're going)," Madam snapped at the woman.

"Am sorry, I-" she stopped and regarded me closely.

"It can't be. Is that you? Omaira?" there was joy evident on her face.

Her face. It looked familiar. Like I know her from somewhere. How come she knows my name.

SubhanAllah.

My eyes grew wide,"Mother Hannah!"

"You know her?" Madam asked in fear. She didn't give me time to answer her as she started dragging me away.

"Hey, wait!" Mother Hannah called but Madam only moved faster.

"Don't even think about it,"Madam told me as I opened my mouth to scream.

I immediately closed my mouth in fear. There goes my chance at escaping.

"Madam, where are we going to?" I enquired shakily as we sat inside the bus.

"Lagos."
