My spirits soaring ever so high
Positivity oozing out of me,
My heart flying, for once set free.
Do I walk up, say hello?
It's a wonderful feeling, to finally let go
Getting in the game after months of tears,
Working through the nerves, pushing past the fears.
There's a magical feeling you get when in love,
Your head's in the clouds, your rationality above
Every smile, a word, even a glance,
Makes your heart leap and prance.
There are moments when you feel down,
You shouldn't count on him to fix your crown
You can wait, but never chase,
If it's fate, you don't need to race.
I loved the return of butterflies,
Even the pathetic, desperate tries
I loved the giggles, the thoughts, the blush,
There's always some fun in a pointless crush.
