Walking through the arched, wooden doors, Naruto took a deep breath. He hitched his bag strap higher up his shoulder and rushed through the hallways, his hand unconsciously clutching at his stomach. It was a rough morning with the morning sickness rudely waking the blond up from his slumber and making him rush to the bathroom. Along with the intense nausea making it impossible for Naruto to get anything down but water. The fatigue he also felt wasn't helping either and it almost made the blond want to skip his university classes and just stay in the safe haven that was his bed. All in all they day was starting of horribly and the only consolidation was Sasuke being there to take care of him through it all.

'Man if this is what is like this early into the pregnancy, I can't imagine later on.' Naruto shuddered as he made his way into the lecture hall. His eyes lit up as he saw Gaara's and he sprinted towards his best friend.

"Good morning Gaara!" Naruto greeted, settling down on the table adjacent to his. He smiled at the teal-eyed man. Gaara gazed at the blond with a curious, scrutinising expression on his face. Naruto pouted but before he could say anything, Gaara spoke up.

"You look a little pale and your face is puffy. Are you sick?" The red-head asked.

"I'm fine Gaara. Didn't get enough sleep thats all." Naruto answered, grinning brightly. The red-head gazed back with a calculating look and the blond knew Gaara didn't believe a word he said.

"You're hiding something." Gaara stated, leaning back against his chair and crossing his arms on his chest. "Is something wrong? Did Sasuke do something?" The red-head growled. He has always had a little disdain for the raven man.

Naruto chuckled. "No Sasuke-teme did nothing wrong." The blond blushed warmly as his mind shifted to the events that conspired yesterday. His cerulean eyes softened at the sweet memory. The blond looked down at his stomach and he couldn't keep the large smile of his face. Looking back up at Gaara's confused face, he decided to come clean. It was useless trying to hide something as big as this from Gaara.

"Um... yesterday I found out I'm pregnant." Naruto whispered, looking back down at his lap, tan fingers playing with the hem of his shirt. Teal-eyes widened at the revelation. Gaara shifted closer, his jaw slack open. He was utterly speechless.

"Are you serious? What the..."

Naruto tipped his head back in laughter at the absolutely shell-shocked expression on Gaara's usually emotionless face. The blond nodded and relayed yesterday's events, the expression on the red-head's face never leaving.

"Wow... Congratulations." Gaara whispered, moving forward to hug his best friend, Naruto eagerly returning it back.

"Thank you." The blond whispered back, moving away and settling back into his chair. Gaara's eyes shifted across Naruto's face as the two men just sat in silence.

The serene silence was broken as Gaara spoke up again. "So how are you feeling? Mentally I mean." The red-head asked, thrilled but also quite concerned for Naruto's well-being. Pregnancy is a tough process. With all the changes happening in the human body and the fluctuating hormones and Naruto's work load and top of that being a male, he was a worried about how Naruto was going to go through with it. It is a known that male pregnancy does exist but it is a rare occurrence and the stigma shadowing the issue still remains in the present even though it has gotten better compared to the previous decades.

Naruto moved to face Gaara and he smiled softly at the concerned eyes of his friend. The blond shrugged his shoulders. "I'm doing okay. It's was a huge rollercoaster of emotions yesterday." He chuckled, thinking back to the previous day.
