(Concerns)
On the culinary corner of the kingdom, the lady servant, who was standing near the pillar of the main hall during the short assembly with the king, suddenly stopped chopping. It lasted for minutes until one of her co-servant tapped her shoulders.
“You’re thinking deeply again, Mita.”
“Huh, mm… I’m sorry.”, Mita apologized and continued chopping the vegetable.
“I often found you in that condition. Taciturn and unfathomable. Are you just okay? Was there something bothering you?”
She then discontinued slicing and glanced her co-cook servant, Ayo. “I’m just fine.”
“But your words weren’t congruent to your actions.”
“I said I am just fine.”
“All right. But, if you need somebody to talk with, don’t hesitate. I am willing to listen. And you can trust me.”, Ayo smiled and massaged the arm of Mita. Then, she went out bringing the chopped meat.
Meanwhile, Mita just sighed.
“Come on, tell me about your conversation with my wife.”, uttered the king who sat attentively.
Travis grinned. “Before anything else, I would like you to know that it’s not my intention to wreck the reputation of the queen – my sister. I highly believe that she couldn’t do it but, but as far as I remember our last conversation—she told me that she can’t..."
"She can't..., what? Finish your words."
"She can't really accept Lois as your own child. She was so unhappy thinking the possibility that you will choose Lois for your throne. She can't afford to accept that Lois might be the next ruler of the kingdom."
"You're assuming that the queen might be liable to the incident?"
"Sort of. But of course, we all know that at the end of the day it's you who will decide for the whole thing. And don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against the queen. She's my sister after all. I just like you be informed..."
"In fact, she's even saying that matter to me. My queen was always open expressing her thoughts and feelings. I understand her side. And I am still hoping that time will come, her heart will allot an space to love Lois the same way of Hyan.", he smiling replied.
"If that is the case, I couldn't tell anything. I had told already my concern and I guess I should leave, master.", Travis bowed and stood to walked out.
"Thank you for your concern, Travis."
Then, Mr. Finly looked to the king with smile and approving gesture.
