Ophelia Parks, District 4's tribute, won the 66th Hungers Games when she was 15. However, the way she won made her one of the most popular victors ever.

She waited in a tree, her heart beating out of her chest. It was now just Velvet she had to kill and she would win. She grabbed the Nightlock from her pocket and held the berries in her hand. There was a loud crack of a branch and she knew she was close. She tried to stop her shaking but it was no use as the red haired girl came out from behind a tree bow and arrows held high. It was time.

Ophelia jumped down from the tree crashing to the ground and pulling Velvet to the ground with her. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach as the two girls wrestled, but she ignored it cause it didn't matter at the moment. The only weapon besides her fists was the dark water, so she knew what she had to do. She turned her body so they was roll down the hill they were fighting on. The cold gave her adrenaline a rush as they rolled down into the water and Ophelia could feel Velvet struggled as they both went under. They fought and fought, sending slow motion punches at each other which did hardly any damage.

Soon enough the brunette found the red heads neck and squeezed it waiting for the girl to stop thrashing. Her lungs felt as if they were on fire, she needed air. With her other hand Ophelia grabbed some Nightlock berries and shoved it down Velvet's throat making sure it was deep inside and swam up from air. The cannon boomed and a loud voice filled the arena. "Congratulations to the 66th Hunger Games victor Ophelia Parks!"

She laid in her bed sweating, feeling as if she had weighs on her chest and the world around her was mush. Ever since her games she had sleep paralysis Episodes almost every night. All she wanted to do was cry as she tried to wiggle a finger, it felt as if it had been hours but soon she regained control of her body. She sat up quickly and started to sob into her hands, she hated every moment of her life every since the games, she would never be able to sleep ever again.

She got up from her bed wiping the tears and slipped on a swim suit. Ophelia walked down the stairs to her house and opened her back door slipping outside. The sun was just rising as the brunette made her way to the dock where she liked to go. The ground was soft on her bare feet as she walked and she felt safe for a moment. Once she got to the dock she climbed into the water and closed her eyes. She loved the feeling of the cold liquid, even though it brought back horrid memories she still felt safe.

"Is the water nice?" A male voice utters and Ophelia jumps, and opens her eyes. The face she is greeted with was Finnick Odair, the winner of the 65th Hunger Games at the age of 14.

"Did I scare you?" He smirks and the brunette rolls her eyes.

"You did. And yes, the water is nice."

"Mind if i join you?" The young girl shakes her head and Finnick hops into the water. "So how come we have never met?" He says swimming to her.

"Well, I don't go out much and I was kind of a nobody before I the Games." He smiles.

"I'm Finnick."

"Oh, I know."

"I suspected that." Ophelia smiles at his words. "So tell me about yourself 'nobody'." Her lips form a smile at his sarcastic tone.

"Okay, um I'm Ophelia and," She pauses to think. "I can't think of anything, you go." He grins and closes his eyes to think then opens them back up.

"I'm Finnick, as you know, and I'm pretty good with a trident."

"Tell me something I don't know." She joked and the corners of his mouth turned up.

"Well, someone is quite the stalker." He smirks for the tenth time.

"I'm not! It's just hard not to know who you are since you're always on tv being assaulted by women." She spits out and he laughs.

"You're cute." A blush spreads across her face and she splashes him with the water.

"How about you come over for dinner tomorrow? Six?" He asks running his hands through his brown hair.

"Sure, that sounds fun."
