"Maddy honey, you aren't old enough to live in this house all by yourself. You're only seventeen"
"Ugh,Mom, I'll be eighteen in three weeks. I'm way too old for a babysitter".
"Baby, it's either Paris or babysitter"
"Madison, come with us,it'll be fun", Casper, Madison's younger brother cried.
"No, Casper. It's gonna be boring. I'm just not down with the grannies that walk up here trying to control ME. I'm way too old for that.
" Then come along with us" Dad said.
Madison looked up with disgust. Sneaking into Dad's email was awful.
Dad cheats on Mom and she doesn't even know. Now their on their way to Paris for a happy family vacation. How gullible.
"You know what?, Y'all just go wherever you want. I'm just gonna be here and sleep all day. Just keep enough money for my upkeep till you return".
"Casper, go to bed,our flight is at 4.50am. You're not used to waking up that early", Mom said turning to Casper.
"Yes Mom"
That night, Madison was uneasy. What would it feel like to be home all by herself?
"I'm not gonna over think this."
She slept off.
