Arnav.. Turmeric has antiseptic properties. It.. protects you from catching infections

For now, I am getting ready to perform a small pooja in which they'll make me wear a few bangles for auspiciousness and toward off evil eye and as soon as your haldi ritual gets over, mine will start

The haldi ritual of Arnav and Khushi had wrapped up successfully, With a lot of teasing, Fun, Laughter, And a small Haldi-Holi fight. At the end of the ritual everyone including the parents and elders of both the houses were coloured in turmeric paste.

“Did you have fun?” NK asked as soon as he saw him coming out of his washroom

“What the.. What are you doing here?” Uttered a bewildered Arnav.

“Well.. Looking at your manly naked chest. God get some clothes and put them on! I'm straight and married” NK exclaimed. Arnav realized that he wasn't wearing anything on his upper body thus was it subjected to the check out session of his best friend NK.

Arnav let out a frustrated sigh and put on a white shirt.

“I had no idea you were going to be here” Arnav said

“You should be careful you know, You're gonna be married this time tomorrow. You can't exactly roam like this in here anymore” NK said

“Mm-hmm?” Arnav asked raising his brow

“Yeah.”

“Then how does Lavanya bear with a monkey like you?” Arnav asked keenly

“I am not a monkey Arnav!”

“That's the biggest misconception that you have about yourself” Arnav said with a slight smile.

“Alright now Nikhil It's his wedding in a few people hours, Let's not trouble him much” Lavanya said

“Fine. You're such a spoilsport” NK made faces at his wife.

“Stop being a child Nik. Arnav.. You're supposed to put on the sherwaani. Your sehra tying ritual is due in an hour” Lavanya said

Arnav nodded

“And yes. Please don't try to call your doctor wifey. She's busy in the parlour” Lavanya informed

“Okay” Arnav mouthed.

“Let's go Nik. Let him get ready in peace” Lavanya said dragging NK out of the room

Short. I know but you'll have to bear with it.

I had originally wanted to include the whole Haldi ritual but ended up writing this. I haven't been a wedding person at all and so.. The rituals are mostly made-up. Please don't mind. Hope you like it. *Fingers crossed*
